PKIDelirium
Yeah, i noticed that too. It was the mulch. What I think makes a ride more enjoyable is the line. If the line is themed like TRTR I tend to enjoy the ride better! Wouldn't you agree? Yep, I love FoF's line, same with Tomb Raider.
familyman
That is one thing I give credit to PKI. They have been theming everything well. From the eateries to rides, it all ties into the movie experience. I am sure IJST will have some great cue line entertainment. There is nothing worse than going to other parks and roasting in the sun for hours with nothing but other miserable people to keep you entertained. FOF/Z 4-ever
Yea, PKI is trying to keep themeing in their park and bring in more rides w/ themeing
CoastersRZ
The one thing that bugs me is QTV. When the park first introduced it, it was fine. But now the programs on it, IMO, has gone down. That and the fact that they now have commercials for bankfs, and car dealerships is disappointing. The whole point of the system was to make waiting in line more enjoyable. I don`t want to be watching commercials on it! Yes, PKI has done a good job with theming their queue lines, or at least making the majority of them be under shade, out of view from the horrendously hot summer sun. It will be interesting to see what they do with IJST`s line.
FOF/Z 4-ever
Yea, I agree with that. PKI should do something about their Q-TVs. That is one reason why I like FOF's Preshow. It fits the theme of the ride.

I'm about 95% sure it was coming from the sewer near Deli's entrance.
Reclaimer
And does anyone besides me miss the arbor tunnel they had between HB and Rivertown? I loved that thing and really miss it. I loved that thing. When was it removed? I can't seem to remember.
TRTR Guy
No, it was a recurring smell on hot days. I'm about 95% sure it was coming from the sewer near Deli's entrance. It is coming from the serwer by Deliriums entrance, don't know why but i htink plumbings checked it before.
PKIDelirium
The arbor tunnel is still half-there, used to put tables under for the Busytown Grill and such there.

LongLiveTheSmurfRide
I'm with you guys on Q-TV. I don't know how many times I saw the Spice Girls "If you wanna be my lover" video last year. I like the guitar playing cats though. That was kind of funny. It's really not so much the content of Q-TV (though I am by no means a Spice Girls or Kid Rock fan) but I think whatever loop they run it on needs to be longer. It's almost like being in line for FoF ALL DAY LONG when you see the same content over and over and over in different queues. I liked it back when they had those public domain Heckle and Jeckle and Mighty Mouse cartoons on Q-TV. And Dr. Katz clips.
Gordon Bombay
I would definently like to see a lot of the rides re-painted and a much better upkeep of the theming. I also think KI needs to put something good in the theatre to the right of spongebob finally. I missed it when they brought days of thunder back for awhile. They need to put bond or thunder back in it or maybe a 3d Indiana Jones expereince since there is supposed to be a 4th INdy movie comign out soon. I think they need to put Bond or Indy in. LongLiveTheSmurfRide
Yeah, I'm no expert on who holds what rights and all that, but I always wondered why we don't have an Indiana Jones anything at PKI. I mean, it's a Paramount movie. Disney's got that super great dark ride and equally awesome stunt show, and they're not Paramount. I'm assuming they must have gotten the rights from someplace to do it. I wonder why PKI can't grab us an Indianajones treat. I'd want something more than just a 3D ride. I mean, those can be okay, but the Indiana Jones movies are among my favorites, and I'd want something extra special for those. I always thought a cool FX Theater show would be something with Star Trek. Like put us in one of their little transport shuttles during a one on seven battle with Klingons or the Borg or something. Anyway, my two cents.
CoastersRZ
Indiana Jones was directed by George Lucas. As such, you may know that there is also Star Wars down at Disney World. He essentially has the rights to the movie properties and allowed Disney access to theme. Hence the reason there is no Indiana Jones themed ride at PKI or any of the other Paramount Parks. erniebald57
Here's an idea for QTV's. How about a detailed film about the building and history of Kings Island. They did the one about The Beast, how about one for the park. I realize that the place is only 33 years old, but hey it's better than bank commercials. I remember QTV being much better back in the day, but now it actually worsens the line for me at times. Park improvements...I always thought that the OC strip would look good with a couple of fountains in the middle of the walkway. There are a few places down the middle with average looking landscaping that would come alive with some moving water. Also, the Action Zone needs some shade in the worst way. That big slab of concrete gets pretty hot in the summer. The water tower helps, but sometimes people don't want to get wet.
CoastersRZ
As far as water fountains in Coney Mall, there used to be two (sort of). There was one located right outside the entrance to Coney Mall by the Ocktoberfest Gardens. It was removed and replaced with a potted plant for several seasons before the trees and benched by it were removed for the transformation to Bubba Gump`s Shrimp Shack. The other fountain used to be in the circle grove of Ginko trees by the Zephyer. This was the later of the two to disappear. In fact, the metal railing is still there, they just plopped a large planter on top to where the fountains used to be. (You can still see some of the pipes/ cutouts in the brick pavers.) The water tower in the Action Zone only shot out water when they did stunt shows on and around it. They have not done stunt shows since the year Action Zone was introduced, and I don`t even recall if they lasted the entire season. I seem to recall the park pulled the plug on the use of the fake guns because of the then recent rash of school shootings. I believe the show didn`t last long after that, not to mention it caused a huge bottlneck in the center of the Action Zone whenever a show was going on.
