How can they stop you from snapping them.

They can slow the ride down so that it is physically impossible to snap the cables.

I think this stinks Iam gonna miss snapping so bad come when spring and summer get here now I dont know what I will ride to replace the flying eagles why did they theme it to a nick toon? Danny Phantom sucks my little brother watchs it and that new show with britney spears sister that show it a total rip off of Disney's Lizzie.

I mean "Phantom Flyers" That sounds ok, but Only in a Halloween themed area of a park.

Lets see, now the Ancient Thrill Ride is now Declared a Kiddie Ride because it is themed to a Cartoon, and it is probably going to be slowed down to about the speed of Holiday World's Eagles... Boring!

I never really cared for working that ride either. it was too boring.

Never did I say it was a boring ride, Had I worked at PKI it would be one of my choice rides to work at.

Looks fairly easy, and It would be fun to run!

I would definitely tell the little kids how to make the birds fly really crazy, not that they would, but oh well.

That show sucks! They should have at least named it after a good show. I would have loved to work at the eagles.(Phantom Flyers) I would have told everybody how to get up real high and snap.

And who says Carowinds is slowing them? That is just crazy, the Balloons are not a kiddy ride, nor is the Fairly Odd Coaster. It is just a name, theme, and paint scheme. Just because it is in a "kiddy" area, doesn't mean jack. Actually Nickelodeon Central as a whole isn't a kiddy area, it is a Family area hence the Log Flume, Reptar, and Rocket Power. These are not kiddy rides, RP is a thrill ride just like Flying Dutchman's Revenge is. And don't anyone who has rode RP and other Falling Stars, say RP is slowed down. It is NOT, that is just someone dumb opinion of the ride because it themed to a cartoon. Any intelligent park would Thrill rides and Family rides into a "kiddy" area because it lets the parent ride adult rides while be near by their kids. Disney pulls off a similar trick by mixing Coasters, Family, and kiddy rides together.

OMG preach on my friend. Although I believe it’s got about the same effect as talking to a wall. This is the reason why there are therapists in the world. Let’s see here loose a flat, and gain a world class themed coaster…hmmmmm.

Actually KI lost a flat ride and a car ride. (Note this was kind of intended to make fun of the "Flat ride or not" topic)

Um, off the top of my head:

Calypso, Troika, MaxAir, Chaos, Matterhorn, Antique Cars, Cadillac Cars, Cedar Downs, Demon Drop, Monster, Witches Wheel, Power Tower, Ocean Motion, Scrambler, Wave Swinger, Tilt a Whirl

Thats not even including things like the water rides and other slower paced attractions. The list of flats above pretty much out number the attractions that PKI has. Sorry, in terms of number of rides.....Cedar Point wins. No question. Sad thing is, PKI used to have just as many if not more. I think that is what has irritated me the most over the past few years, so many things replaced and nothing really expanded. I realize this isn't just a PKI thing, I've read on other boards that similiar things are happening at the other Paramount Parks. I just don't get it.
