Posted February 22, 2004 Share Posted February 22, 2004 i dont know any of the answers to the questions, but all i do know is that i dont think i have ever seen any star trec characters at pki... since i am only 12 all i can say is that i dont think they have been there since around 1997.... i hope that helps to answer any of the questions. SixFlagsNow Posted February 24, 2004 Share Posted February 24, 2004 The Star Trek charachters appeared the first year Paramount bought the parks (1993) as Paramount produced the Star Trek series. They were discontinued after i think two years. My guess is that they weren't that popluar and required a makeup artist to be on staff as opposed to just zipping people into the cartoon characters. If the Klingons scared the kids, just used regular people in Star Fleet uniforms.........or have some wear pointy ears to look Vulcan. That's my opinion. After all, PKI is a PARAMOUNT park. Of course, it might be possible, up in IR with all the windows blacked out or something. lol I miss the Star Trek people! I really, really wanted to be a ST character when I was young, it didn't matter which ones! There were normal humans, Klingons, Vulcans and Ferangi. I wasn't scared of any of them! They used to hang out in Festhaus a lot, probably b/c in the back is where they changed. It was great! ST the expereience in Vegas is coming out with a new ride: Borg 4D!
