Granted I realize in recent times with the budget cuts and yada yada this isn't high on the priority list, but everyone constantly needs something to drink and having more locations open creates less waits and more options. Not to mention as a fan of fountain Cherry Coke, Tower Drinks has the superior Cherry Coke vs the FreeStyle. I wish Tower Drinks was open more often specifically for this reason and also because its right at the front of the park and makes sense to staff it more often. Oh well. Having more drink stations open for quicker access and variety, especially for fans of specific beverages like Cherry Coke, would indeed enhance the overall park experience. It's unfortunate when budget constraints impact these conveniences. Edited September 26, 2023 by dayna889 3

Im 100% on board with this as well, even as I am (continually unsuccessfully) trying to eliminate drinking pop, the TD Cherry Coke is a certain go-to when the stand is open. Also, even though I Love the Freestyle machines, either they need at least 2 more locations with them (I know, too cost prohibitive) or they need to police the one by SolSpin better because of humans' lack of ability to master the rudimentary task of operating said machines, and then there was the time I was there Sunday before Labor Day when I had to have the "That is a move that you really dont want to make again" conversation with a family that looked like the O'Doyles (O' Doyles rule!) who decided it would be a good idea to jump the line for the machines. 3
KI Guy
This is a big one, but it would make a huge difference. All eateries will henceforth be founded, operated, and managed by independent vendors who pay rent or a share of their revenue to Kings Island. This ensures that each eatery is good enough to make money and compete against the other restaurants. No matter what improvements are made to food operations at Kings Island, they will never operate a restaurant as well as people who do that alone full-time. No longer would some restaurants continue to exist just because they are more convenient than leaving the park. This model has worked for Indiana Beach for a very long time. The burger I had there from the BlueJay Cafe was outstanding and would have been outstanding even for a restaurant outside of a park.
Orion-XL200
On the topic of eateries.... I would make sure things were consistent. For example, one year the mac and cheese bar did not have consistency on serving sizes (the bowl size changed at least 3 times), one day you could get whatever meats and the next you could only get one, etc. Mobile ordering - enough said. I would make Jukebox something more unique....while I enjoyed my first time eating there in years a couple months back, it just wasn't amazing. Would like to see something other than a burger, chicken tenders, pizza in the park. More indoor dining. No Live E in Festhaus....trying to watch a show and enjoy a meal while people are essentially screaming all around you isn't great. Using peak times for expo-ing meals....Chicken Shack I'm looking at you! The amount of orders they take compared to what they can get out at any given time is sad....sure we got you through the line, but stand in an awkward corral near the self serve soda fountain to wait for your name to be called...but don't expect it to be quick. In peak meal times, so from lets say 11:30-1:30, and 4:30-6:30, for every two orders, two more should be cooked at the same time. This allows for quicker service. Loading and unloading seems like a nightmare… I wish there was a way where all arms could raise and lower at once but I understand that’s not how it was designed. Speaking of awkward ops, I’ve heard that Pipe Scream can operate during and after rain whereas Surf Dog cannot. I’m not sure how true this is because I don’t really pay attention to Pipe Scream’s ops, but if that’s the case would it be a wise investment to get the updated version for our park just so we don’t have a ride down for weather? i personally hate the monster ride specifically because of the loading setup. i just dont see it as worth the wait time, especially with how short it normally runs once you even are on. I think it would be cool for them to have videos playing in the Festhaus. Like maybe old pov videos of old defunct rides like King Cobra, SOB, or videos talking about Kings Islands history and rides. I know they have those sometimes in the que lines, but maybe something like that could be nice in the Festhaus. Keeps kids entertained watching the videos and also removes the loudness of the performing shows. Or even just minimizing how often the performing shows are and running the videos in between if you still want to do one or two live shows.
