shadowscare
We'll have family in town over the holiday and I've heard July 4th crowds aren't as bad as you would expect. I got curious and looked at Queue Times calendar and much to my surprise... they're calling for a low crowd day? It's in line with any other Friday and I'm taking that with a grain of salt, but still. Anyone care to share their experience? I've never been on the 4th. Hawaiian Coasters 325
It always depends on the day of the week and the weather. With it being on a Friday, I would honestly expect large crowds especially towards the end of the day. In the past, usually when it's ridiculously hot, the dry park is either a ghost town or tolerable and SC is shoulder to shoulder packed. Then as SC closes and we get closer to fireworks time, crowds in the main park build and by the last hour, it's a Saturday level crowd. Like I said, with it being on a Friday, things may be different and the park may be busy all day. It really depends on the weather though. If the weather is perfect (ie in the mid to low 80s or lower), then the park will be slammed all day.
DJSkyFoxx
I would just go ahead with the mindset that it will be busy. It's a holiday on a Friday. Granted something tells me Saturday will be much busier than Friday, I would expect both nights to be reasonably crowded.
Orion-XL200
Anyone can tell you it will be busy or won't be busy....your definition is different from theirs more than likely...just go and have as much fun as you can.
johnjniehaus
I have actually always loved going on July 4th. Crowd can be unpredictable but I've never seen it slammed that day. Alot of people still have family functions or other activities to go to. With it being a Friday the crowd could be higher this year but in general I've never had a bad experience on July 4th at Kings Island
