August 13Aug 13 You’re right about that centurion. I totally forgot about that guy. I’m not even sure which character is in the armor. Sometimes that first scene doesn’t want to trigger properly, especially if you’re in the car number one, which is separated from the rest of the cars.

August 31Aug 31 Last Friday everything seem to be working and repaired except the furnace screen. So they do appear to be maintaining the ride so far. They really need to put lower bars on the queue line to stop the children with neglectful parents from swinging from them, crawling under them and touching the scenery around No legs, and climbing up the wall with their feet while they swing on the bar All of this is happening Since this ride is located in Snoopyland, i’m guessing it will probably be closed during haunt. That’s probably a wise decision given the horrible acting crowd that comes to that event.
September 29Sep 29 It was open on Sunday during Tricks and Treats. I wish the park could do a Haunt overlay without having to worry about unruly guests, but maybe another year.
September 29Sep 29 I’m hoping for a Christmas overlay myself, nothing too fancy but it would be cool I think, something to change up the pace a little bit but still keep the theme of spooky theater

I’m sure there would be a certain degree of re-programming involved, but alternate queue dialogue could really sell it. Wouldn’t need to be anything too fancy. I also thought someone from Sally mention the ghost note projections being able to change to other “objects.” Those could become presents, candy canes, maxed out credit cards, or other fun holiday icons. The family and I had the pleasure of riding Haunted Mansion Holiday a few times during our recent Disneyland trip and it really made me think about the opportunity it could create for the KI. It’s a similar situation in a lot of ways. Both parks are relatively season pass-heavy, and this kind of overlay could potentially drive attendance a bit more given it would be a limited time experience. Probably getting my hopes up for nothing, though. Money’s tight and I doubt there would be a budget for anything substantial like this. Who knows. One can dream!
