March 29, 200521 yr What ! My family was already planning our camping trip there this summer. This just . What makes you think you know everything ? jennifer
March 29, 200521 yr Last week late in the week Italian Job at Kings Island made its first trip around the rails. Kings Island also took in 3 more cars maken 6 cars total. They have 3 red, 1 white, 1 blue, and another car that covered up by plastic, I haven’t checked it out yet. They have 3 on the track and the other 3 are sitting on crates by Vortex entrance. How'd the cars fair around the track? Any difficulties? Did they have any of those "hollywood special effects" going on yet? It'd be quite a treat if they had the ride running for sneak preview weekend!
March 29, 200521 yr I checked lap bars for Son of Beast for 3 years. As of rite now I'm a seasonal mechanic at the park. I’m there 40+ hours a week. I’m not sayen I know it all but try to call the camp ground and tell me what you get? Im only telling what I hear or see. Ok, Sorry for being such a . jennifer
March 29, 200521 yr I personally haven’t seen it but I have been doing work on the ride and you can see the tire marks all around the track. What type of tire marks?
March 29, 200521 yr "They won’t have IJST running preview weekend." That is what they have been saying all along.
March 29, 200521 yr My friend says the other car is red. So that would make 4 red 1 white and 1 blue. Oh well I'd rather have 2 trains with wrong colors than 1 with right.
March 29, 200521 yr I have to ask why you are trusting a comment from mech I, this is not their ride. P.S. seasonal mechanic (who still has all ten fingers)... worked on sob... I only have one guess who this might be, you made it way too easy. ..matt
March 30, 200521 yr I'm still wondering what you mean by tire marks since the coaster runs on regular coaster wheels. Cris
March 30, 200521 yr He's not talking about actual tire marks. He's just saying how the wheels of a coaster train will wear down the paint on the running rails.
March 30, 200521 yr I watched the movie last night for the first time! The movie was terrific! It made me want to ride the ride even more! I cant wait. Just one BIG discrepency though. In the movie the helicopter never shot gattling guns or had them on it.
March 30, 200521 yr ^^I know. The angle of the track going up the helix looks really steep. Are you launced twice on the ride or just once?
March 30, 200521 yr cool cool. cant wait to see it on saturday. have the cars been detailed yet? stupendous, u r 1 sad person. the movie has been out 4 2 years now. !JK!
March 30, 200521 yr stupendous, u r 1 sad person. the movie has been out 4 2 years now. !JK! Hey now! I've never seen it, and I WORK there!
March 30, 200521 yr just watched the original long ride promo video for IJST again. The steps are going to have bumps on the ride. I wonder if this is going to be simulated with the rumble seats.
March 30, 200521 yr ^I heard that the bumping will be done with pneumatic shocks. The cars are also suppossed to fish tail too.
March 30, 200521 yr stupendous, u r 1 sad person. the movie has been out 4 2 years now. !JK! actually when the movie came out I thought it looked like the worst movie i would ever see and when they announced this ride I was very dissapointed but now after actually seeing it, I cant wait for the ride.
March 30, 200521 yr in the tour video, didn't Jeff say that there will be 3 launches? Also, how did it run during its first 150 or so times around? Anyone know?
March 30, 200521 yr 3 launches - 1)out of the station, up the helix, through the cop cars, under the signs, around the flowers, down the subway to the helicopter scene. 2)Launche out of the scene into the sewers, throught he sewers and the secret surprise in them up to the billboard, 3)as you are coming throught he billboard you recieve a a third launch that gives you a little extra push as you fall down into the water
