The Beach Waterpark

Featured Replies

I had passes to the Beach a couple years back and thought that place was awesome. It has some pretty cool slides and is really clean ( which is a huge plus for me because if anything turns me off a waterpar it's wet wrappers and used band-aids everywhere) if your in the area some time you should check it out.

I've been going there for a long time, maybe sence I was 9. What I love is the ragging rapid's, the speed racing sides and the Cliff. The cliff has 3 sec of air time!! biggrin.gif

I havent been to the beach in a long time because I dont swim much at all.

I have never been there, it looks like BB is much better.

Are the lifeguards hotter at the beach? The girls are not very hot at BB.

I think the Beach needs to really improve because BB is kickin its butt in terms of new slides overal selection and stuff!!!! Way to go PKI!!!

I hate the Beach. The first and last time I was ever there was when i was 7-10 years old (it's been awhile, so i can't remember the exact year). That day was the worst example of "guest relating" you could imagine. Here's the story: It was a long time ago, in a waterpark far far away....(enough joking..to the story)..I went there with my mom, my brother, and my mom's friend and her daughter. I don't know if they have lockers or what now, but back then, the popular thing to do was to just leave your bags on a beach chair and go ride stuff. We all separated for a while, and were going to meet back at the chair at a certain time. I got back first, only to discover two guys going through our bags. My mom and the others got there a couple minutes later, and a big argument ensued. My mom found an employee, and this is when it got interesting. That employee couldn't make it more obvious that the theives either worked there, or were his friends, as he pretty much refused to do anything..(I can't remember exactly what he said). So, my mom's friend went to go get a manager, (this is why I think at least one of the two worked there) and one guy ran for it. My brother, friend, and I gave the best chase we could, but he was at least 18, alot faster, and we lost him at the wavepool. We got back, no manager yet, so my mom told us to just go ride some slides and things. After a couple rides, my mom and friend and security found us. We were being escorted out of the park "for making a scene" as my mom put it; and according to her, they let the other thief go. None of this is exaggerated or altered in any way; it is told exactly how I witnessed it. Not suprisingly, I really don't care too much for any waterparks now.

Why do you can so much about looks? There is more to a relationship than looks dude I think most of the girls that visit PKI and most of the girls that work at PKI are hot I perfer BB.

I've never been to The Beach, but I did go to the now-defunct Surf Cincinnati once, right before it closed... The Beach looks really cool though.

I'm glad you brought that up, I had almost completely forgotten about Surf Cincinnati. It doesn't really compare to a waterpark which say has the capacity and attractions as The Beach or BB has, but it was a nice little waterpark, and the location was perfect for me. The 20 acre complex was bought by it's former owners in 2001, who was exploring it's options about it. I think it's being used for hosting some sort of wedding receptions or banquet halls now. From what I remember correctly, there was a dueling steep drop slide in which you rode on mats and across from it was a tube slide, which I think were the 2 main attractions, not including the wave pool. The sign remained up for a long time after it closed, and still is now, but it's covered with an advertising banner.
