July 31, 200521 yr I think it's cool that they have Sundays set aside for families who cannot take their children into the Fear side of FearFest.

September 2, 200520 yr I can't wait for this years Fearfest. I've been to everyone since the year it first opened and have loved every single one. My friends and I are hoping for some big changes, and by the looks of it there will be. Can't wait for my first day off in Oct. so that I can go with them. I hope that there is a scare zone as well. I haven't been to Cedar Points but from what I've read I can picture it being really good.
September 2, 200520 yr It is free with either a 2005 or 2006 season pass, and is included with the cost of general admission. Not sure how much they will charge for Friday evening general admission. I would imagine it would not be $44.99, since they are only open seven hours (5pm-midnight).
September 2, 200520 yr 2003s FearFest was awful..2004 wasnt bad but not an improvment 2005 will be the best since the first fearfeast ya'll look out for that headless horsemen.
September 3, 200520 yr Yeah that was awesome becasue everyone had no idea what it was going to be like on opening weeked and now the lines are like 2.5 hours long and you are just like umm wait or ride rides... thats the question.
September 3, 200520 yr http://www.pki.com/fearfest/ My guess is September 7th. If you want to find it you must use this address. If you use fearfest.com as in previous years it will come up as a site for hauted attractions in St. Louis.
September 3, 200520 yr I LOVE FEAR FEST!!!!! IT's like the highlight of fall, other than running meets in cross country. If I could drive, i'd go to Fear Fest every weekend. Such a fun event
September 4, 200520 yr Does anybody know what rides are going to be open during fearfest, like a list or something because I want to ride Delirium one more time before the off season.
September 4, 200520 yr Does anybody know what rides are going to be open during fearfest, like a list or something because I want to ride Delirium one more time before the off season. The park is usually in full operation during Fearfest. This is of course with the exception of Crocodile Dundee's Boomerang Bay, which closes for the season on Labor Day, and White Water Canyon which usually starts winte rehab in September.
September 5, 200520 yr The past two years, they have taken the Scrambler out of commision in October as well, and used part of its queue line and ride area for the lilne for what was once known as House of Darkness. I think all the names on the haunted attractions this season are different.
September 5, 200520 yr That's true...the names have been changed this year...the cue line for what was the House of Darkness has run thru The Scrambler every year that I can remember...that thing was a pain to setup...the cue I mean!
September 5, 200520 yr So is the House of Darkness re-named to Massacre Manor, or is that white tent maze Massacre Manor?
September 5, 200520 yr It's Supposed to be themed to Sleepy Hollow in some way..Iam not sure.. I am not sure were the location is most likely it is house of darkness.
September 5, 200520 yr Author Guys, I will be at the park in mid-late September for a company picnic... I will have the mini-dv cam with me and will try very hard to get up a Fearfest preview! Again, taking the risk of getting kicked out of the park! I will try! -Hauntguy
September 5, 200520 yr What about cornSTALKERS and the Western Woods? Where will they be at? Or are they actually going to be part of FearFest this year? Oh, yeah one more thing... 100th Post! Sorry, I just had to say that.
September 5, 200520 yr Author My guess, is that PKI would renovate the Paramount Story into a cornfield themed scare area... like Universal did for HHN! But I could be wrong... PKI might not even use the CornStalkers theme? We'll see! -Hauntguy PS: Ringmaster, please check your PM box! lol!
September 5, 200520 yr ^ Yeah, I just now saw that. No, I don't have MSN. But I still love scaring the utter crap out of teenage girls! EDIT: Oh crap, did I just say that out loud? Anyway, it would be great to have Paramount Story for a maze. Especially when an evil army of scarecrows/pumpkin monster-thingys are on the loose. I hope PKI doesn't pass this opportunity up to have a really great FearFest this year. So all that's left is to figure out where in the heck the Western Woods will go...
September 5, 200520 yr I think it would be cool if Action Zone was a scare area and had "stunt doubles" of some famous people that the stunts on the set mightve went horribly wrong.
September 6, 200520 yr Author I believe the "Western Woods" will just be a rename/retheme of the trail... But then again only time will tell! -Hauntguy
