August 30, 200520 yr Or their getting ready to install one of those on ride movie recorders and that will be where you buy your DVD
August 30, 200520 yr That'd be a good idea. I'd love an on-ride personal DVD of Beast, SOB, TR:TR, Delirium, Vortex, and Face Off. Okay...Just about anything would make me happy
August 30, 200520 yr It closed after the opening season due to lack of sales. At the beginning of 2002, it was the only On-Ride Photo location run by Merch-Owned. Sales weren't up to expectations, so it has served as a stockroom for Outfitter's Supplies and Rivertown Carts since then.
August 31, 200520 yr Remember that Face Off also used to have an on ride photo. Also, at one point in time, Adventure Express also had an on ride photo, but that was a long time ago.
August 31, 200520 yr SOB has the worst location for a ride photo, it the smallest hill at the slowest part of the ride why not at the bottom of the big hill?
August 31, 200520 yr Becuase you are going like, 78 mph or somthing like that. Try to time it. Flight of Fear can be done becuase I belive no matter what the weight of the train, it will be in the same place at the same time.
August 31, 200520 yr it is not going 78 down the first hill I like just saying it goes really fast!!! PS: If you want to know what the TRTR pictures looked like I have mine in my profile. Sorry for the bad quality, it was a keychain. Changed my profile pic, sorry. Edited June 7, 200620 yr by Captain Nemo
August 31, 200520 yr Nah, it doen't really matter if its going at 78mph because xlc has an on ride photo and it goes 80...
August 31, 200520 yr Yes that is true but XL-C would always be going that speed cause that part of the ride is computer controlled. SOB would depend too much on the weight of the train.
August 31, 200520 yr They do it on other drops I'm sure there is a way to capture the photos, remember when The Vortex couldn't capture color photos?
September 1, 200520 yr I always think it would be cool if theyy took them upside down in the loop on SOB. But I dont know much about hooking the cameras up to know if that would even be possible.
September 2, 200520 yr Drop Zone would be cool, very easy to do except it would take 40 cameras and a contraption to get them in front of the riders, man I would like to see my face on the drop
September 2, 200520 yr Drop Zone would be cool, very easy to do except it would take 40 cameras and a contraption to get them in front of the riders, man I would like to see my face on the drop You wouldnt need 40 cameras you would only need about 10 or so cause you would get like 4 or so people on one picture. They could put some poles on a claw and the camera would be out of the way while loading and unloading and have the cameras right by you but I think that would ruin the view from the ride.
September 3, 200520 yr It has nothing to do with timing. There is a sensor that sets it off. My exact thoughts. They could put cameras anywhere and aim them anywhere if they wanted, because those little (i think they are green) sensors catch the train and set the camera off. I believe you could do it on a loop... Oh wait, didnt they do that on Vortex? Its at the bottom of the loop, granted. Drop zone would be pretty hard to do. But if like the above says, they put them on poles around drop zone, you could do like other rides and capture 4 at a time or whatever. my .02
September 3, 200520 yr They should take your photo on the water slides. I don't know if they still do, but the people who do keyhole on certain days would take "on-ride" photos of you while riding Tasmanian Typhoon or the Lazy River.
September 3, 200520 yr They took pics on Adventure Express? I never knew that, does anyone have a picture of people on it? Also, where did they tak your picture? I'm guessing right after you leave the station but I don't really know.
June 6, 200620 yr Yes AE took your picture right before the first tunnel. Also does any one remember when every picture would print and they would show them to you on a clip board. Back in the day when all the pictures were in Black and White.
June 6, 200620 yr Delerium would be a might cool ride to do it on. It would be possible to if they could time the number of seat and the rotation and put the camera on each side of the swing.

Back in the day when all the pictures were in Black and White. I have an old pic of me on AE thats in black and white. Good memories. I also have my siters black and whitepics on The Beastie and the first year of color photos of them on taxi jam.
