Speedslides have been removed, the racing slides will be takeing its place.

Kinda out with the old, in with the new.

*Just to answer the question "Why is the picture wavy?" It is because my camera scans the image going down. Like it starts at the top and scans to the bottem. So if I'm on a moving train, it does that.

I am slightly disappointed that they're removing them. The new race slides seem cool, but i really liked the old. I guess it would be odd if they had two race towers.

Will they be keeping any slides from the old water park. I like the one (not sure what its called cause i never go to water park)where you sit in the 4 man tube and go on the high banked turns its painted white.

I believe theyre keeping all the old slides except the fast tracks. correct me if im wrong?

I hope they have a splash pool at the end of the racing slides.. I mean those friction-style stops at the end of Fasttracks...ouch..

They won't have a splash pool at the end of the Coolangata Racers. Don't worry, because it really doesn't matter since you will be laying face first on a mat while you are on the waterslide.

I could see alot of people loosing the mat.

Yeah, so long as it's better than the skid stop things, I'll live with it. I just REALLY prefer a splash pool!

We'll have to wait and see how fancy Boomerang bay will be. I hope that it'll be as great as we expect it to be.

I'm really curious to the cuisine. Will they have Australian food such as vegemite and Buffalo burgers? I doubt it.

Mabey one place might have them. All others will probibly be the same.

they will be rectangular inner tubes, not mats, so you won't lose it

I totally understand why they are taking thoose out. They don't have a big line usually. And for most people there just too high up.

It wasn't worth climbing up all those steps. They should build a big Elevator that would be cool. For the new ride though all walk up the stairs at least once.

ya know... i'm gonna miss those speed slides, but the new racers look like fun too.... What i really wish they would have added is a couple of those slides... where you ride the plastic yellow slides down and then skim across the water at the end.... had one at surf cincinnati, anybody know what i'm talkin about? That was always so much fun!

That Sled slide was cool thenthey took it out and closed the place.

To be quite honest, I was never a big fan of waterparks. Im like a girl when it comes to self image.. never thinking mine is "up to par" so to speak. I hope some of you don't take that as a sexist comment, but im sure some of you have had thoughts on your apperearance and how others think of you. Granted, im not a big guy, theres nothing physically different about me.. just shy i suppose. Its not everyday you take your clothes off (not all, but most) in front of hundreds of strangers!

I did ride some of the slides a few years back, although Fasttracks was not one of em.

One thing I hope they fix is line capcity. The old water works always had lines no matter what day you go on. Me not a big fan of water stuff I would be willing to try the new things with out the long lines.

hopefully with the new additions, capacity will improve greatly. I for one am counting on the fact that everyone will be in line forr the new stuff, and the line for the older slides will be dramatically shorter! Also looking forward to it being less crowded in the wave pool, and possibly even the MAIN PARK!
