BoddaH1994
I'm just curious as to how many of you intend to go to Winterfest. On a side note, how many times do you intend to go?
standbyme
I am going on the 10th...then if I really like it I have time to go back. I am 3 1/2 hours away...so road conditions are an important factor...if only Winterfest were in the summer I wouldn't have to worry about icy roads! pkiboy
Im going. I just have one question. What is a GAD Ticket?
Alien Seed
I'm not going. I went to Winterfest before and I don't think it's anything spectacular. Plus, with only four rides open, and only one of them being one I like, it's a little too pricey.
coastergirl
I would like to go but it will be to expensive to take the whole family and knowing our luck we would drive all the way from Columbus and it would be sold out!!
Guest faceoff
Christmas is not my time of year. I would prefer to skip this time of year and move right to april. Plus it is too cold.
TheKlockster
I may or may not go. If I do go I will only go once. I don't like Christmas, and it doesn't have anything for me to do. I would like to get back in the park sometime in the offseason - but even if they do not do a construction tour, and I do not go to Winterfest, I will still get to go in the park sometime in December. Pixie and Dixie swing will be open and Top Cat coaser these rides have just been added and are not listed on the web-page. All of the other HB rides are gone and will be back for Nick I hope. CoastersRZ
Well there are two rides that I know of that are gone forever and will not be part of NU. One has been discussed about before. The other might have been mentioned before.
RailRider
I remember how much fun WinterFest was and cannot wait to skate on the fountain again. Will not miss it for the world

CoastersRZ
Published in what publication? Or can you not share that information until it is published? I will be going to WinterFest at least two times, and possibly a third time!

CoastersRZ
I love the Christmas time of the year. It is the time after Christmas and New Year`s that is the gloomy time. The dark cold winter months, where the only bright spot is the hope of spring and PKI in April.

The dark cold winter months, where the only bright spot is the hope of spring and PKI in April. I'm the other way around. I'm bummed out until around Christmas and then start to get better during the later winter months. I guess it has to do with the fact that the days start getting longer or something... plus, that's when we really start to feel and appreciate the coming of opening day. DeliriumDreamer
Don't take this the wrong way, but I personally don't think that Christmas is culturally universal. Therefore, I have to agree with Gabe. (and to be a little off-topic: I'm back in Cincy!!!)
BoddaH1994
Unfortunately, nothing is truely culturally universal so there will always be those who feel like outsiders. Welcome home!

WooferBearATL
Actually, most cultures have some sort of Winter Festival. Thus, this type of celebration is pretty much universal.
TheKlockster
Yeah no kidding. It is Winterfest not Christmas fest. Would you be happier if they called it Channukahfest. I am sure I spelled that wrong - so what get the ACLU on my case... You go to PKI - meet Santa, skate - there is nothing religious about that. Sure Christmas can trace SOME of its roots to Christianity - but what PKI is doing is totally secular. It is like Easter - people don't realize that it is 100% a pagan holiday...
