Guest faceoff
Does anybody have an idea, when pki will post their 2006 calendar on the website? I am planning my vacation days with work and need to know what will be the opening weekend in april. Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks and have a great day. flightoffear1996
I have no idea but I would assume late middle April is when they open for weekends however I am not too sure.
King Bowser
Okay this is what I was told from a friend that has connections April 7 & 8 will be preview nights I hear April 15th will be opening day for spring weekends. However my friend has been wrong in the past so take it with a grain of salt. WooferBearATL
King, so what is the point of posting information that you yourself have found to be questionable and wrong in the past?

cewldre
yes, the park opens good friday, and saturday, but, as of last I heard, closed on Easter.
BoddaH1994
yes, the park opens good friday, and saturday, but, as of last I heard, closed on Easter. That's a shame... Easter has always been a great day to go.
ZosoBeast
Closed on Easter? That stinks! The last time I went on an Easter Sunday, the park was DEAD! Then again, I guess that is why it will be closed this coming Easter!
Jasper
Yes probably in Mid April or when they actually have the job fair and get everyone situated and they can plan out their new calendar.
CoastersRZ
No, they will have their calendar set before mid April. But of course even once they decide upon an operating schedule, it is subject to change. Well, I wish that they would be open on Easter. I went on Easter a couple of years ago, and the park was dead. It was having the entire park pretty much to yourselves (which is why they presumably won`t be open). Too bad they won`t have a three day weekend for their opening weekend! I`m already counting down the days, in part because I will be out of DAAP for three months and making money on a co-op job!
WooferBearATL
I worked an Easter Sunday years ago. The park was so dead that all the area managers got the supervisors together for an Easter Meal in the Festhaus. We sent line workers for a special meal in shifts as well. Shman
It sure would be nice to have Easter Sunday off for once....the park has always been open and employees had to work, but the park was always so empty! It will be really nice to not have to waste the day this year!
