flightoffear1996
With all the Mack stuff going around here I was on their site and found these cool boats that could be used for WWC. I don't see PKI ever doing it but it would be cool and they could retheme to to some kind of temple ride.
ragerunner
I agree, it is a shame more US parks don't install more Mack rides. They have some really cool stuff. I like there supersplash rides and their gravity and emotion coasters. I would also say that Europa Park has to be one of the best theme parks on the planet. Thrill_Biscuit
^^ Why wouldn't PKI ever build something as cool as this?
TheKlockster
That's awesome! You could shoot back at the guests on the observation platform - and maybe the op at tower three! They should fix the pay sprayers too. White Water Canyon is a ride I think could actually be easily and well themed.
flightoffear1996
Only thing is it has 4 seats instead of 6.
TheKlockster
Holiday World's rapids ride can hold eight or ten people per boat - too bad its extremely boring - and the only thing that gets you wet is that stupid water curtain - which if you go under, you might as well be dunked under water. Captain Nemo
What would people shoot at in that kind of boat?
Gordon Bombay
WWC will receive those boats and it will carry a spongebo theme but to save money pki would hang yellow sponges with googly eyes pasted to them all over the trees and your job would be to save spongebobs extended family by spraying them with water preventing them from drying out and dying. Pirate of PKI
They have something similar to these at the small Wally World park in Liberty, Indiana, I think they're just called "battle boats" or something along those lines, but it is one person inside the ship and shoot balls out with a net surrounded the pool, and they also have guns outside the net where people can put in quarters (like WWC's fountains) and shoot balls at the ships. TheKlockster
Hey that would be a cool idea - as a Spongebob theme! And Captain Nemo - read up a bit before you post. I said the guests on the boat could shoot back at the guests on the observation deck...

Shman
It was on the edge of Rivertown by the bathrooms, basically where the Nick Central sign has been sitting for the last few years. It was a large cage that had neeting around it inside of which there were battle tank (boats) which could shoot rubber balls (the size of tennis balls) at the observation area as well as other boats and targets hanging from the air. The balls of course could not hit the observers because of the netting. Around the perimeter of the cage were air compressed "guns" that would shoot similar balls back at the boats, you could buy balls buy the bucket to shoot. I remember I use to go around and try to find balls that had become stuck on the ledge of the cage near an opening in the net and you could pull them out and have a free ball LOL

About how long ago was it? I've never seen any pictures.

deidre1976
The line on WWC is long enough with 6 seats........even slower with
flightoffear1996
Yea but you have to realize many of the 6 person boats go empty.
Gordon Bombay
^What? Not always, they might not always get 6 per boat but the WWC crew hardly ever lets them go by empty especailly when theres a line.

Umm....I would have to say early to mid 90's, maybe late 80's The concept with these new boats would be a cool retrofit for WWC....however, like many other people have said I would be worried about the lack of objects to shoot with the water guns.......anyways I doubt anything like this would happen

Same with the Chuck E Cheese style maze attraction and that game in which two people would stand under the pipes and would pull a lever and one of them would randomly get soaked. Do you guys remember that?
