Avatar
I just wanted to tell everyone hi and to share a special magical moment that happened for my daughter tonight. We went to the Hoop De Doo show tonight and the boat to go back to Magic Kingdom was way over crowded so we decided to take a near empty smaller boat back to the Contemporary Hotel. So when we got to the dock the few people who got off before us rushed to the hotel to catch the special fireworks show this evening. We thought we could see the castle well enough from the empty dock and decided to stay put. While we were waiting we could see a lamp light coming down the dock towards us but couldn't see who it was. Then my daughter recognized that it was one of her most favorite characters (and the reason why she has always called me father and not Dad) It was Peter Pan and all by himself. My daughter went running and screaming down the dock and Peter Pan started jumping up and down and said I knew I would find you here!! They hugged, talked and held hands as they walked on the dock together. Then the fireworks started and he started watching them with her. I'm putting a picture up to share this Magical Moment with everyone.

WooferBearATL
I can't imagine that Disney has not pulled all those old characters. Kids really don't know them these days as well as say ..... Nickelodeon Shows.
Captain Nemo
Disney is wonderful at keeping those magical moments! It's just the fact that they are most likely the only place in the world where you can watch fireworks with your favorite Disney character, just you and your hero. To a little one, that is like a "dream come true".
Gordon Bombay
Thats awesome to hear Avatar. You must be having one wonderful trip! I didnt go to Disney untill I was 15 and I was awe struck by it and it was great seeing my sisters, at the time 10 and 11, who claimed they were too big for disney movies, get into it again and get their picturtes and autographs will all the charecters. Yeah, the coasters at Disney world in flordia might not be the best in the world, but all around its one of the best parks, if not the best, in the world. The Interpreter
Wow. Just wow. I am so happy for you and your daughter. She'll remember this long after Peter Pan has forgotten it, I'm sure.
