March 1, 200719 yr Yep. I`d say they are power washing the track, to remove dirt and any pieces of loose paint so that the new paint has a clean surface to adhere to so that it won`t flake off after a couple months or a few years.

March 1, 200719 yr Are the rails going to be a different color? Maybe they are only painting the hard to reach area's before they install it. I have no idea.
March 1, 200719 yr How come it seems to me that they are only painting the ends of the track. There is only one small section of one piece of track painted. I think they did that so they could see what it looked like before committing to anything.
