Good find Reclamer

Wow!! They really got camera happy too! Looks like they are hard at work.

Just one? They should hire me as their photographer, Id get out there with my nice Evolt SLR and have pictures up, post processed, framed, and catered to the public. But KI does a good job too.

Looks like they are adding more, where up to two, time to pop the corn. popcorn.gif

I wonder when those were taken... vertical constuction should start in the coming days or they are behind.

No i watched x-flight be built and vertical construction started the 22nd i think...

Have the taken them out in the past? You seem like the kind of guy that would have been in the park in the off-season. I'm hoping for confirmation that this is indeed the first time they've been removed.

I have never seen vending machines removed in the offseason before these photos.

Right. I`ve been in the park a couple of times before in the offseason, and not once have I seen vending machines removed. This could mean a couple of things. A, those machines were old and needed to be replaced. B, Cedar Fair wants to remove some of the vending machines that are located throughout the park. Or C, Cedar Fair is switching soft drink companies at the former corporate parks to take better advantage of the cost synergies between the larger amount of parks. I personally think that it will be for option C. Which is something I do not like because I much prefer Coca-Cola over Pepsi, but I will drink Pepsi if I have to.

Hey - I started a thread a while back about the Coke/Pepsi thing...look it up!

Maybe the machines needed to get their signs replaced, or maybe CF doesn't want machines that don't work (seems like every time I try to get a pop out of the machine, it eats my money).

Or, maybe this is a hint from Maureen?

Pepsi Cola Hits The Spot

Twelve Full Ounces That's A Lot..

Twice as Much for A Nickel Too...

Pepsi Cola Is The drink for you

Nickel, nickel, nickel

Trickle, Trickle, Trickle.

Well, I bet they won't be a nickel.

Or will we be having a Coke and a smile?

I won't be smiling if Coke is still in the parks come April.

As for the nifty song...I think it'll be updated a bit, though it doesn't have the same ring to it:

"...Pepsi Cola is the drink for you

Three fifty, three fifty, three fifty

It's nifty nifty nifty"

Maybe they're just changing machines. Didn't they all have the "p" word on them?

Love the new site without the "P" and the pics are looking great. So far only complaint is the name of Firehawk, but even with that 07 is looking great.
Wow you're Firehawk's construction foreman??

Sure he is! When hes not busy "Pretending to be busy" cause the thinks thats good guest service.

Disclamer: MutedDarkness was a seasonal employee at X flight for one year before that he was just an ordianry park guest. Never has he been involved with the construction of X flight nro any Vekoma Flying Dutchman.

My Canon could kick your camera's proverbial arse. :P
