Nope, there is a RC at PKD that is almost like The Racer.

^^ right... and pigs can fly..

Any thing can happen if you belive. Yes pigs can fly if you put them on a air plane!

correct me if i'm wrong, but REBEL YELL at PKD does have an identical layout and very close dimensions... (within a few inches, feet or MPH) In my opinion, that makes Rebel Yell a clone, if not exact, it is stil very similar.

and oh yeah, who said anything about The Racer being removed???

Yes thats the RC at PKD I was talking about, there almost the same, here is where The Racer is said to be leaving, http://www.pkicentral.com/forums/index.php...ct=ST&f=4&t=623

Well it actully not a clone if it has the same layout. Height drops and everything. However The Racers and the one at PKD is very close, so close the GP probaly wouldn't notice so I consider them the same.

Racer: Rebel Yell:

length: 3415' Length: 3868'6'

speed: 61mph Speed: 56 mph

angle of decent: 45 degrees Angle of decent: 50 degrees

But you are looking at 2 john allen PTC'S built within 4 years of each other. exact clone? no. but not being 100% techinal here, its been cloned, i mean look at the amount of twin racing out and back coasters. Also The Racer was not the first twin racing coaster. The Racer at Kennywood, which is actully a racing coaster with one continuous track was built in '27

Anyone who removes a John Allen ride is doomed to 50 years of back luck and misfortune.

I don't think The Racer is going anywhere. It's a great ride that offer great air time!

It was great until the lap bar crushed you every time you it a crest over a hill or hit the bottom of one.

I've never been crushed by a lap bar on Racer, so I cannot relate. However, it was the first coaster I was ever afraid to ride. My mother used to bribe me with a dollar to ride it. But, I always loved it in the end.
