matt-and-jackie
We have been planning our KI trip for a while now, and only one week to left to go! I would love any suggestions on long lines, and how the crowd is this time of the year. Hopefully going on a Monday will help. Also seen in extended forecast a 30% chance of rain, so I am hoping for the best!

Flight of Fear may have a longer than normal line due to its proximity to Firehawk. The Vortex is usually a fast moving line so don't be scared off by long lines there. The Beast is also another fast moving long line IMO.
TOPGUN1993
I waited 30-45 mins for Flight of Fear yesterday (full hanger)
Browntggrr
^ Wow. That is A LOT better than I was expecting. Nice job FoF crew!
flightoffear1996
Well beings that your going on a weekday but most schools will be out by then I would expect medium crowds with waits around 20-30 minutes for most rides.
matt-and-jackie
Thanks! That gives me some sort of idea of what lines will be like. Hopefully we can beat a lot of crowd to Firehawk, we plan on being there when the park opens. But I guess every other coaster fan had that idea too so yeah, I'll be waiting forever. Smitty
Yup, it should be a pretty good day at the park for you. Maybe a little crowd, but not much of one. Hope you have a great time.
The Interpreter
Just remember, if the new inclement weather policy is still in effect, if it does rain, the coasters will not operate. . .
PKIDelirium
Except for FOF, correct?
The Interpreter
I don't know. I do know that reportedly even Scooby and the Haunted Castle closed during light sprinkles.
Smitty
Shouldn't this policy be posted on their website? Because on the website it states that most rides will operate rain or shine... Shouldn't they state that the coasters will close down if it rains?
Ki Man
80% chance I will be there.

Shouldn't they state that the coasters will close down if it rains? Probably so, but this seems be new policy since the Magnum incident of last weekend. Updating the website is probably a low priority compared to implementing the policy.

The Interpreter
The park spokesman is quoted in The Sandusky Register as saying it was caused by "moisture."
Guest kwindshawne
The park spokesman is quoted in The Sandusky Register as saying it was caused by "moisture." Didn't Beast do something similar in rain? Seems I remember reading about that somewhere-I was out of state at that time.
Skywriter
Not it was not really due to the same factors. The Beast had a different kind of brakes Skid brakes. MF used air compressions and a gasket broke.
