Description: Slingshot is a high-speed upcharge thrill ride. Riders are strapped into a large ball-shaped ride vehicle and are then catapulted skyward. The ball bounces up and down, flipping the passengers, before lowering back to the ground.

History: Slingshot was added to Oktoberfest in 2002, adjacent to where King Cobra stood through the 2001 season.
