I honestly don't feel anyone should be able to vote in these kinda things without proving somehow that they went to all of them on the list. Also because of that I think voting should be in Jan and not before said event even starts. But what the heck do I know.

You wont ever find any good ride videos due to the quality of cameras from 15+ years ago.

Load times are slow due to the seats being so small and the seatbelt being in a weird place.

Flight of Fear is my number 5 at Kings Island but depending on if Diamondback gets the Intimidator effect, Orion could make it Flight of Fear drop out. Diamondback is my number one and barely beats out Mystic. But if Orion winds up being a Diamondback 2.0 in any way then I could see Diamondback falling from 1 to 6. Editing this to say I love Flight of Fear. I realized being number 5 at other parks like say Carowinds would be taken as bad not a good thing. At that park the quality drops off a cliff after the first 4.

All this talk of "Mill Force" today. When I first read that I thought the old Cedar Point log flume was being talked about.

Theres nothing like riding Mystic Timbers when its 32 out and you have to wear that coat, a hoodie, hat and gloves. I love riding it in the cold and wish I could ride others too. I love walking around and seeing the lights, seeing people ice skate, seeing the snowflakes being blown. Walking around with a Starbucks hot chocolate in my hand. Watching some of the shows as I walk from area to area. Eating my favorite chocolate covered pretzels and Buckeyes from the candy shop. I have no kids and I go alone. I ride the train at least once every time. I plan on going at least twice this year even though I am almost 2 hours away. If hours were longer or if I could find something to pass the time during the day I would consider staying overnight and going both Friday and Saturday.

You could always ride the Great Pumpkin coaster.

Years ago Sundays were always dead and Fridays not bad either. Crowds are bigger, Fridays and Sundays were packed this year. Maybe it's time to give Sunday Haunt another shot.

Its probably Miami River Brewhouse aka Reds last year. It was listed for Winterfest 2019 as Brewhouse but looks like its been taken off. Likely just a name change. Red's was a buffet year round. Brewhouse isn't but looked like there was still plenty of room on the right side to add a seasonal buffet. If so it makes me hope some other changes or new things are announced/added to the page.

One thing they could do to try and help with crowds is try some Haunt Sunday nights. Other parks are starting too and not just Columbus day weekend. If they could staff it people will come.

I don't understand what Anaconda or Volcano has to do with Vortex being removed.

Or how about 1 million on the worst ride in the park Invertigo?

I got a nice Backrow ride on Steel Vengeance due to that issue once. The row the ride separator gave me was near the middle. For some reason she didn't fill the seats behind me so I quickly switched to the back.

Didn't it always go around that station, turn around and go back to Rivertown? It makes a full loop and runs 2 trains. If it really ends at the waterpark that could explain the Kids Halloween stuff moving back to Planet Snoopy and there could be Winterfest stuff in the waterpark. I kinda doubt it but it would be nice.

I chose the paper cup plan and once in a while the employee working the checkout asks me if I want a bottle. I always say no for 2 reasons. I don't want to carry around a bottle all day and I assume I would have to pay extra for it.

Why does my posts keep appearing an a different thread than I posted in? This is the second time in under an hour. First time I thought it was my mistake but now I know it wasn't. If somebody is moving them then why not just delete them. Since when moved they become pointless to the new thread. As they were intended for another one. Not this one. Moving it would just be confusing and make me look like an idiot.

The park usually opens the 3rd weekend in April. This year sneak preview was April 19th. Public open was the 20th.

Cedar Point doesn't have as many buildings to cool of in hot weather. Kings Island has the theater, Boo Blasters, Flight of Fear, Festhouse and 3 water rides in the dry park to Cedar Points 2. If its hot and busy get a fastlane so you are not standing in lines getting overheated. Get a Drink pass. Also AC in the car isn't an option for me since I drive a stick and the e-brake does not hold the car in neutral. I also have a nasty rattle in neutral due to the car being old and the bearing being worn out.

Last spring I bought all season Kings Island Fast Lane for $550. I used it 10 times. In Aug I bought all season Fast Lane for the whole chain at $849. I bought 2 sat fast lanes at Cedar Point and 1 at Carowinds this year. My days off are Friday and Saturday so that combined with Orion makes it worth it to me.

849 is the price I paid through Kings Island. So if that is the Wonderland price too then there is no discount.

I think last year they kept it drained the final Haunt weekend. they were already starting work on the rink.

Cedar Point Fast Lane Plus is $150 on Saturdays. I think Kings Island is close to a 100 and I think Carowinds was 95. So the All Season pays for itself fast if you go on weekends a lot like I do or plan on making a lot of Haunt trips. With that said I feel like I get a much better value for my money everywhere but Cedar Point. They sell too many of them and even Steel Vengeance FL+ can be over an hour. Next year with the new gold and all chain passes it may be worse. Kings Island and Carowinds Fast Lane lines were short all year when I went on weekends and holidays.

This just came out of left field...

I think its one more operating day than last year due to New Years falling one day later.
