  1. Cedar Point would like a word with you...
  2. Maybe I am just a weirdo but I really really enjoyed riding The Beast, Mystic Timbers, Diamondback and getting soaked on Banshee in the pouring cold rain on passholder preview night. It is something I had never experienced before and maybe never again. Lines were short. Then the next day started with light cold rain and dried off quick. I went prepared. Had extra of everything and wore 2 hoodies the first night and the 2nd day wore a hoodie and pulled out my old faithful leather jacket with a lining in it. Bought my all season fastlane with my tax return and got to skip that massive Beast line and got my Beast 40 Shirt. Although its a size too small and cant wear it. Went to my first Coasterstock ever and had a Blast. Took a 2 day Trip in June for my first ever Coastermania at Cedar Point. Rode Steel Vengeance 5 times in a row at night. The park was open for us to ride coasters for 18.5 hours Went to Kings Island for 3 days for the 4th of July/ my birthday. Hopped in the car a couple weeks later with plans to go to the Hot Summer Nights water park ERT and at the last minute decided to drive to Carowinds instead. Went there for my first time ever over a hot 95+ degree 2 day weekend. Rode Copperhead Strike 9 times and Fury 11 and loved it. Went to a Kentucky Kingdom event in August and was there for 2 days. Again it was insanely hot 95+. Loved the food and the waterpark. I went to Cedar Point again for the first weekend of Haunt. Wore my Friday the 13th shirt there on Friday the 13th. Was there again for an insanely packed Sat. Went to Kings Island again 2 weeks later for Haunt. Took a trip in Oct to New Conneaut Lake park for 13 Layers of Fear. Rode Devils Den which is one of the last Pretzel dark rides still in operation. Rode the Blue Streak which is now 82 years old. The Next day I went to Kennywood for Phantom Fright Nights and got to ride a 100 year old coaster. Was suppose to do a 14 hour Dorney event the next night but a hotel fiasco caused me to not go. I went to Kings Island for Winterfest 3 times. Once opening night, 2 weeks later then again on New Years Eve. Had plans to go on a Wed the week before Christmas but I got sick. I was at Kings Island 14 times in 2014, Cedar Point 4, Carowinds 2, Kentucky Kingdom 2, New Conneaut Lake park 1 day, Kennywood one day in 2019. Had a great year. I plan many visits to Kings Island this year. Hopefully even more than 2019 due to Orion. Plan on going for passholder preview night/ opening day. Then again for my second Coasterstock. I bought a ticket to my first ever Holliwood Nights this year. Planning a 5 day 4th of July/ birthday trip this year to Kings Dominion and Busch Gardens for my first visits ever. Going to go back to Kennywood at least once. Planning an Oct trip to Knoebels for Phoenix Phall Phunfest. Planning a 2nd trip to Kings Dominion for Fall Thrillfest. If I have money I might do Coasters Eh at Canada's Wonderland. I'd like to do Coastin Through the Snow in Dec at Kings Dominion if they do it again. Maybe a trip to Dollywood or Hershey if I can fit it in over the summer.
  3. Diamondback will be demoted to regular Fast Lane.
  4. Its probably a Coke Freestyle Train Station Fastlane. Good only Mon-Thur before school lets out.
  5. I rode it during Winterfest 18 and the MCBR was either not coming on or was coming on light when I rode it. It was hauling through the 2nd half like I remember in the 90's.
  6. Coke Freestyle hot dog stand by the train?
  7. Cedar Point pizza is terrible. I only tried it in Frontertown during Haunt. I'm thinking the firehouse building? I assumed all Cedar Point pizza was the same like all Kings Island pizza is La Rosa's. La Rosa's 15 years ago was the best pizza ever and I made sure to buy whole pies in the park. Now its not near as good but I find its hit and miss. sometimes terrible but not Cedar Point pizza bad. Sometimes decent but not the pizza I remember.
  8. I wonder why action theater isnt used as a 4d theater anymore? Maybe it was used more due to more visitors at Kings Island than Carowinds and therefore more broken chairs?
  9. They launched fireworks off the buildings for July 4th in 2019 too. Might have been part of the improvements to International this past winter.
  10. The park was moderately busy. I've seen bigger crowds and smaller crowds. It was cold and it was the wind. Coldest in the park for me and I've been to Winterfest in cold weather 5 times. I know its been colder but the coldest when I was there. Mystic shut the line about 10:45pm and the line was almost cleared out when I got my last ride at 11pm. So if any rides were still running I wish the park had made that a bit clearer. After my final and 7th ride on Mystic of the night I went to La Rosa's and used my meal plan and drink plan about 11:30pm. Then I was gonna attempt to get some Starbucks. Attempt number 2 of the night but that line was just insane all night. So I headed to the tower for the Fireworks and New Years party. After the fireworks I started walking toward the exit but noticed lots of people doing the same so I headed back to the stage and waited it out and enjoyed the music for another hour. Fire up that loud! Another round of shots. Turn down for what?
  11. I was surprised we got the amazing 4th of July fireworks again last night and the Greatest Showman again to start it off. Was hoping the Christmas tree tower would be a countdown or that there would be a ball dropped of some sort.
  12. One train ops tonight for some reason.
  13. 10:17 and they are still letting people through the que on Mystic Timbers.
  14. You can still see "Vortex" at Carowinds next year...
  15. Ask for a summer transfer to the Kings Island Skyline!
  16. Kings Island just announced on Facebook the park will be closed tomorrow 12/29/2019 Sunday due to rain.
  17. I'm mistaken then. I saw a picture somewhere on here or facebook of someone unboxing one of the Orion Ornaments with the 11th on it. I did not know you could buy them at Kings Island or have them shipped? I'm pretty sure Steel Vengeance previews were a full week ahead of opening day. But I wasn't there for that either. That ride is what pulled me back in after darn near 15 years of not going.
  18. My moneys on a 2021 Soak City addition. Probably a rename to something with Harbor or Shore in the name. The park could get rid of the 2nd wave pool and add a water coaster. Boo Blasters needs a retheme bad too.
  19. The 11th is likely going to be media day. I think the only people who got Orion ornaments in the mail were considered members of the press. Park will probably open on the 3rd weekend of the month with a 5 hour passholder preview on a Friday.
  20. I still wonder why the rides stop at 10pm this year and there still may not be a lot to do after 10pm.
  21. Where was that party last year? Kings Island? Great Wolf? I'm a new member this year and wasn't too impressed with Castaway Bay as the party spot this year.
  22. Biggest for me was going to my first ever Coasterstock and having a blast.
