then why dont u get out of cincinnati and go experience some real attractions yourself? they managed to test IJ:ST again today, and this time we got 2 c a little bit of pyrotechnic action going on. The helicopter sounds are fantastic, and they finally detailed the cars a lot better than before. All they have to do is fix up their queue lines and they're pretty much done. the line is actually right next to the billboard crash scene instead of where seibert said it would be on the tour from a while back. exactly what r u xpecting from this, buckeye? some state-of-the-art, 90 mph scream ride with massive loops? y dont u just go up 2 Cedar Point. if u have ridden Adventure Express before, it will feel faster than it actually looks. give it a chance and you'll c what we mean.

ok if winterfest is making a comeback, wont they need to shorten fearfest? the calendar on pki.com says that fearfest is being extended to friday nights from 5-12. im just thinking they would need to shorten fearfest so they could have winterfest, u kno?

depends on the situation. i remember last year one of the face-off trains had gotten stuck on the second incline after the third inversion, but i guess that doesnt count as a difficult spot. i think the trains crawl over the hill at the top of the garage just to give the guests in the front seat a glimpse of what they'll be going through before dropping. i thought i saw the cars fishtail through the first police car, then again maybe it was just me. with the ride being less than two minutes, they'll be moving people real fast, even if they only have two trains. i still cant wait to see the helicopter scene, though. that ought to b real nice.

congo falls, hands down. riding in the back is the best part because you come up out of your seat on both drops

no unfourtunately not. we only had to work 4 2 hours though, that was sweet. yeah the front page is all messed up for me, too. i have to work a close on Sundy. hopefully we'll see a lot more people and a lot more things to do tomorrow.

At least us workers will get to just sit around and do nothing on Saturday. Doubtful irf they'll let a few of us off, but im hopin for it! im still waitin for them to soft open IJ:ST. If and when that happens, you can be sure that i'll be 1 of the first in line!

probably drop zone on account of no one wanting to be up 300 feet in the air in 40 degree weather. i have 2 work on saturday, so its a coin toss on if we get a lot of nobodys or a lot of everybodys.

i dont see how ST could launch every three minutes. the ride's only like two minutes in length. here's how i see it: one train is already at the helicopter scene, stopped. The other two trains are at the loading/unloading platforms. it takes a minute/minute and a half to load people onto the train, and like 30 seconds to unload people off the cars. Once the helicopter scene is finished, which will probably only take around 15-20 seconds, it rockets into the aquaducts, triggering the go signal for the first train to go. it launches out of the station, the second car comes in 3-5 seconds after the launch, and by the time the second car arrives, the third car has already blasted through the IJ sign and into the unloading station. thats just my idea of how the ride'll work. doubt it will actually go that fast.

fan's right-there's literally no where to put anything ride-based in Action Zone. they're already using the patch of land behind SOB for the new campground in place of the new hotel for next year.

player, if u dont like the way pki runs things, why dont u just move to the point then? Adventure Express is somewhat slower than ST, but it's still a popular ride among guests and packs a lot of people. Stunt Track is already supposed to have 1000 pph capacity, and since its only 3000 feet long, it'll get people moving real quick. also, to answer your drawing crowds in statement, we brought in a good 3 million peeps last year. <-- I wish. you mean like a water coaster? that could work. knowing PKI, we could have a themed water coaster like sea world's Journey to Atlantis. maybe base it off of Titanic or something. they had some ideas for a titanic-themed walkthrough in the survey a while back.

wrong. sneak preview days r 1 of the most crowded days we can get. last year especially was rough; we only rode three rides and that was it. you have to remember its not just associate tickets, its also to gold season passholders, and we're expecting a bunch of those come this year.

chefs right. we just do this to make conversation. just 2 put in my 2 cents here, a friend of mine said that PKI and her sisters are up for bid, with Cedar Fair, universal, and disney as the bidders. six flags would have been another bidder until they sold off all their european parks and r now going down the drain. if universal wins, then we get to see a lot more themed attractions, but no re-naming The Beast or SOB. if disney wins (which will be very unlikely), then expect to have the majority of the coasters and high thrill rides replaced with family-based attractions (save IJ:ST). if Cedar Fair wins, just sit back and watch more coasters pile into the park, along with a much improved fearfest (which would probably turn into another Hallowen Haunt). i would like 2 c Cedar Fair win, even though it kinda looks like they're working out a deal between them and Paramount parks. already the hotel company up in Cedar Point is building our new hotel down here for next year. theres my 2 cents. enjoy!

well for PKI it might just be easier to retheme FOF to shockwave or war of the worlds. i mean, it pretty much does everything it says it can do just like Flight of Fear. im not saying that they they're absolutely going to have to re-theme FOF but it might b easier on their part to save money instead of, say, building another LIM launched coaster.

thats not the subway tunnel, thats for the aquaducts. remember, its supposed to go down at an incline. yeah, they still have a long way to go. it looks like they dont even have any highway signs put up yet.

its pretty much FOF rethemed to be a rock-n-rollercoaster rip-off with crappy hip-hop or rock music. originally it was supposed to b with MTV but i guess they dropped the name after a while. yeah, war of the worlds would b a much better theme than shockwave. still would like 2 c an update 2 top gun, though...

either they would take the baby rides out or just retheme them 2 nick rides. they'll probably re-do timberwolf 4 mission impossible and have nick w/new rides. i love the idea for a new stunt show that would actually b good. im still reeling from the crapfest that was the tomb raider stunt show in '03.

well, it depends. the ride only goes 40 m/p/h, but it has explosions and it is based off of a mature themed movie. for me, its a coin toss on the rating dont bother riding sgc. it hurts just tryin to get into the car. that and it hurts the groin area on the brake run.

Im comin on Saturday. i need 2 catch up on rides on Tomb Raider and SOB. ill alsio get a chance 2 c IJ:ST again. that ride looks so sweet. ill come and visit u diana. dont worry
