Man continues to walk on the moon during Apollo moon flights numbers 16 & 17. The Cincinnati Reds win the National League Pennant but lose the World Series in seven games to the Oakland A's. Gasoline is $0.37 per gallon. The last passenger train leaves the historic Union Terminal in Cincinnati. The "Godfather" wins the Academy Award for best movie. Roberta Flack's "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" spends six weeks at number one on the pop charts. The Dallas Cowboys beat the Miami Dolphins 24-3 to win the Super Bowl. More people watch "All in the Family" on a weekly basis than any other television program.

And if you don't want your face, on anything, don't leave the confines of your home. Cameras are everywhere. Deal with it, or become a hermit.

Whether you call it Mondo Monsoon or Tasmanian Typhoon, to me it will always be the giant toilet bowl.

I think that when the park makes an announcement about Son of Beast, it should be made by someone dressed in a Dippin' Dots uniform.

There are those who post here who can be seen in those old specials. Yes, indeed. Terp, who suddenly feels very old...older than even Beast! Or Kings Island.

I will still call them "that slide over there."

Going to Holiday World for Holiwood Nights, and most likely will be able to do Kings Island sometime. I'd like to hit Stricker's again on Customer Appreciation Day. With Ohio State switching to Semesters this year, I lost 1/3rd of my summer.

This one is correct, and is why they took out the loop. No one has died on Son of Beast. The loop was removed to reduce wear and tear on the structure.

I just hope it's better than "Starlight Spectacular," which was anything but spectacular. With literal names such as "Drop Tower" for its attractions, CF should've called it: "Dark path with burn out Christmas lights."

The less filling, tastes great dueling chants also broke out when we were there over Father's Day weekend this year.

1974 was more beautiful, but 2011 has Viking Fury. This is a tough one, but Viking Fury trumps all, so I'll pick 2011.
