The reason is because the Little Miami River is designated as a National Wild and Scenic River.

Oh, I fully agree with you, but when they report stupid crap, like the SoB revival "teasers", it puts the GP into a hype train that isnt needed. @silver2005 Agreed about The Racer. But, keep in mind, as we all know, the GP isnt as informed as we are.

I agree though that the media has a habit of hyping people up more than needed.

Depending on weather, that would be nice. But I assume they will be starting on it soon.

I think the only major issue stopping them from doing this is the maintenance buildings.

I don't remember seeing the original. Just a few pictures online. I would be all for a new lighting package, and the original paint job. I would also love to see a brake system at the top of the lift hill, so both trains go down the hill at the same time. It has seemed so out of time recently.

I'd still love to see a 350+ft go into a ravine, making the drop 400+.

@Maverick44 But then what about The Big Brown Box and the SoB station? Those are certainly eyesores. Also, keep in mind, CF had SoB still standing for numerous years. It's not like they took it out the same year they decided not to run it anymore.

If you are talking about Firehawk, then yes, it was apparently horrible. But, what makes it worst than SoB in that respect?

The biggest "thing" I see pointing to 2020, not including the commencement is, why didnt they just keep Firehawk up (not running, just not removed yet) another season like SoB? Why are they wanting to tear it down this quick?

And I will add, those were taken on Saturday, Jan 5th, 2019. So, yes, very recent.

Well, if you notice, there are two different spines. One is taller than the other.

Dark green. Almost a camo would be nice IMO. Have it blend in with the trees. Something that doesnt stand out until you get closer to it.

Oh, dont get me wrong, it's an awesome color scheme. I just feel like the colors are too close to Banshee, for being located so close. I think those colors would rock on the other side of the park.
