I think the chance of losing the whole season is non-zero but unlikely. The majority of experts believe this will play out in a similar way to most other pandemics and be mostly over soon and then the park will open soon thereafter. But around here we still hold out hope it opens right on schedule and there is still a decent chance it will. The season hasn't even started so in my opinion talking about refunds and such are premature. I will concede it is the elephant in the room for many, but things are changing so rapidly there just doesn't seem much point even talking about it at this point. The rule books are still being written on global disasters like this. I will say this. A few seasons ago my wife developed a bone spur that was aggravating her Achilles tendon and there was no way she could walk the kind of distances a park requires so she didn't attend once. CF rolled over her pass the following year and the charge was $50 for her Platinum and it would have been $30 for a Gold. My point is Cedar Fair has great customer service and values their customers.

I have said many times KI will always remain a tier ll park without a SkyRide. And in relation to CP, I see the biggest problem as the lack of open Freestyle stands. CP is lightyears ahead.

If they continue to pay the impacted employees will tell a lot. They have something like $100 Billion or so in cash on hand so doing so wouldn't bankrupt the company.

@Rustbucket We have a lot to learn from South Korea on how to properly prepare and handle this. The US response has been extremely embarrassing. Can you tell us some details of how the drive thru testing works. Like how the sample is matched up with the patient. Are they given a code number to reference when checking results later or some other method?

Come on man, the parks in here in OH are not even delayed yet. We really don't need to go there yet. How about taking the high road show some concern for all the employees that might have the jobs they were expecting. Spend some time thinking about what we can we do as a community to help out the situation.
