I certainly would be.

That needs further clarification as you are correct and the website does only list early entry into CP and not the 1/2 at CPS. I have a hard time believing CPS early entry is not part of a hotel stay, but I have never stayed at a CF hotel. Good catch.

For $40 they better take you to the Wendy’s drive-thru.

Last night carriage rides were $40.

@PatchesC I can’t find an age restriction on that Sunrise Tour, but I believe it requires ascending that 200’ spiral staircase so I would just verify with Guest Services to make sure before booking anything. I see VIP tours much more frequently at CP than KI and I did talk with a couple once on one and they were having a great time and even had VIP Tour windbreakers on. They were in Cleveland for a business trip so didn’t have much time and hadn’t been there for years. My kids can burn out really fast if it is a slow day at the park and we really bounce from coaster to coaster especially if it is hot. So in our case I would generally choose multiple FLP+ passes vs. one day of VIP. I get ahold of the manager of the program at KI and see if a tour could be customized to suit your interests. They may be willing when you are spending that kind cash.

At least some of the units at LHP have kitchenettes and charcoal grills which expand your dinning choices. (Personally I would also bring my camp stove and make a huge breakfast for the day) If you are staying on property the Platinum doesn’t get you in any earlier but with more than 2 days there you might as well get it. Should be a tad cheaper than a gold at each park. If budget is a concern I would go with the less expensive option and put the savings towards FLP+ for at least a day. CP sold a ton of Gold passes this fall so expect higher attendance numbers next season.

I have never seen or heard of a discount on VIP packages. However I imagine you could use your pass privileges in addition to the VIP perks and eat a ton of food or something.

I agree with @Hawaiian Coasters 325 and @disco2000 that media day is extremely unlikely to be on Saturday the 11th.

On the 10-15 days a year that they need to use those long queues they REALLY need them and makes the park still chaotic but manageable for the staff. Without them the midways would turn into riots.

DDN: Things to do on New Year’s Eve this year

That would be because it is a summary of things to do. Not the Michelin Guide to Cincy. -
But The Vortex station is going to be the overflow que for Orion.

Locals concerned that Kings Island is violating noise ordinances

I don’t understand. Are you saying B&M is lazy because they don’t make a stealth coaster? Even if they could, who would want such a thing? Coasters are loud, it’s in the rules. -

Netflix and a bottle of wine is pretty fun as well. Safer too. -
Use either of the printouts. If it doesn’t scan, attendant should scan it or just waive you through. Now in the extremely unlikely event that doesn’t work an an attendant makes you pay, take the toll receipt to Guest services along with your printout or pass and they will reimburse you. The system had some kinks years ago and this could happen but I have not heard of it happening in several years.

I recall seeing an ad stating that was an online price only. Depending on what the transaction fee ends up being and how many tickets you need, it could work out the same or cheaper using a different promo.

Sounds like The Vortex Station Historical Preservation Society needs to start a gofundme or sell candy bars or something.

For everyone's benefit here is a brief definition: A good thing to have in my opinion even in tightly held organizations. -

One thing to keep in mind here is not all sound is the same. Higher frequency sounds such as a woodie screeching in a turnaround attenuate more than say the lower frequencies of a B&M Roar which tend to travel much further. -
Was just thinking an relocated old station could be an interesting lakehouse or showerhouse. Used to work with a guy that rehabbed an old caboose into a showerhouse for his pool.

Then there is absolutely no problem. They can pickup their passes and you can pick up yours when you visit, just have the right printout/receipt for each person that you print at transaction completion. Just scan the paper at the tollbooth and then take it to season pass processing right out front. If you didn’t upload a photo or they reject it they will snap one and away you go. Any add ons like Dinning or drink plan are automatically linked but may require an initialization the first time you use it, like selecting souvenir cup or paper. Have fun!

Do they realize a Friday is National Ugly Christmas Sweater Day? -
Better yet purchase a VIP tour and have no wait.

GateKeeper has sand presumably because it is over the entrance and they didn’t want a ton of noise at the ticket windows and entrance. That B&M roar can frighten kids and just make it hard to communicate.
