Decoding Episode II: Rivertown 2017 and the Falling Trees

I know this is not a suspended coaster, but how awesome is it when you combine wooded areas and water in coaster construction? Feel free to post more pictures with coasters and water. -

I am just a little surprised at the relatively "straight" nature of the coaster track with all that land available to the south. If it is a GCI that is. The Racer goes straight out and back like this. -

You were are former ride operator? You don't have to go into detail, but I was just wondering exactly how much training is involved for ride operators? -

What's lurking in the woods? The antique cars? LMAO! -

It's a kiddie coaster. I found another teaser: -

I agree. I do not think they would hype up a tiny little thing. They could actually remove Backlot Stunt Coaster and I would ok with that. haha If they did take out Backlot, I wonder if there is enough room there to bring back the antique cars? -

So if this is an intermediate/ transition type coaster, is there anybody here that thinks KI actually needs one? I don't. I look at Adventure Express, Racer, Backlot Stunt Coaster as transition coasters. They need more flat rides and dark rides, but a transition coaster they do not need. A big, unique, wooden modern coaster they do need. -

My #1 woodie. Extremely intense and aggressive, but in a good way. However, there's a few here who aren't a fan.Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk Not a fan from what perspective? That is truly a coaster that has everything. I only ask because I've never ridden it, but airtime, tunnels, height, speed, turns, length.....it has it all. -

Gravity Group built the Voyage at Holiday World. By all accounts one of the best wood coasters in the world. That wouldn't be a bad thing. This POV looks insane. -

You do know that these "cookie cutter B&M's" are bringing in people, not chasing them away? The general, non-enthusiast public loves these "cookie cutter B&M's" and setting revenue records with the company. Well, that and Ouimets new business strategy, which focuses on on the best day possible, tries to stay away from rides from a company that almost killed an entire boat full of guests. A company that had to replace sections of track on not one, but two, 20+ million dollar coaster. And all of this information has been commonly known and has been repeated on this and other sites multiple times, almost to a point where it's just a pointless argument. In the end, Cedar Fair doesn't care about the 0.01%, just the general 99.9% will give guests the "best day" and set a good reputation for the parks that'll make visitors come back to spend more money. B&M satisfies the company from a guest and company standpoint. Sorry for this boring, cliché, and mostly unrelated post to the topic. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Nice avatar. There are at least two RUSH fans on this board. My avatar looks like the Roll The Bones skeleton, but it's actually a little drummer figurine I bought in a shop on International Street, King's Island. (without Santa hat!) -

Thanks. This thread is way to big to search through. Video says posted on July 20 so it threw me off. -

Here the guy asks Don what the new coaster is going to be called and Don doesn't deny that it's a coaster. Don't know when the interview was conducted, but the video was just posted a day ago. -
Vortex is the only coaster that I used to grey out on. This is not uncommon, but I guess the G's from all the inversions do it. I used to ride that 6-7 times back to back. Takes a toll for sure. This was a long time ago, so I don't know if it's rougher now days or not.

I speculated earlier that they might. I even drew a proposed new train route on the east side of DB, then I kind of cooled my jets when I didn't hear any more reports of tree clearing in that area. -

Why not just call the coaster Beauty? Then KI would have Beauty and The Beast? -

Why is everybody ignoring the bear possibility as well.? Grizzly has been used as a coaster, but I don't think Kodiak has. Just throwing stuff out there:) The more names we post, the better chance of somebody getting it right. That is unless it isn't named yet as somebody suggested earlier. -

I don't know. Were there Bigfoot sightings back in frontier days? haha I think some kind of wolf theme seems very likely as well. -

Sasquatch doesn't match the hints? I already posted that America's top logging states also coincide with the most Bigfoot/Sasquatch sightings. -

How would they not be though? Weren't the plans obtained right from the city office. The city would have to be in on it. Very unlikely imo. -

Where do you see the tombstone? I do see something that looks like wolf ears where I have circled. It's like when the psychologist shows a picture and everybody sees something different EDIT: I think I spotted the tombstone. Right in the middle of the pic with a cross on top of it. Maybe? haha -
