This is what I speculated and posted here waaay back right after the announcement. I said the shed might not be finalized and that KI management might be scouring fan sites for ideas and inspiration.

I read a story that said the kid's brother saw him die. So sad. He supposedly told somebody that worked at the park " thanks to your attraction, I just saw my brother die" or something like that. Looking at CP's procedures, they say that hats are considered a "loose item" and are not permitted on most of the big coasters, but I ALWAYS used to just turn my hat around backwards on every coaster. Granted it's been about 5 years since I've been on a coaster. So I got curious and watched a few youtube videos of CP from the last year or two and there are plenty of people wearing hats on all their coasters. Is this just something they don't enforce?

Do they still have all the alien theme and those videos about something going wrong in the que lines? It was so air conditioned in there as well. Great way to cool off.

I expect a slow ride with some nice effects through a haunted/evil woods before getting back to the station. Probably will be some computer animated evil trees and maybe even a voice screaming "get out of my forest" or something. ha! Anybody ever consider maybe KI doesn't have plans finalized for what's in the shed yet and they are scouring fan sites for ideas? Here's your chance:)

I'm not seeing how "field of dreams" tied into Mystic Timbers other than if you build it they will come. That feels more like a slogan for a record breaking coaster IMO.

If Timberwolf is removed, I want a giga to go there.

Mystic Timbers name is already starting to grow on me. It will become a household name down the road. Look at all the ridiculous band names that became commonplace after a while. Hootie and the Blowfish, Toad The Wet Sprocket, Chumbawumba. ha!

Anybody tell me exactly what year the Red's dugout changed names? I used to love shopping in there for MLB helmets. I think they had just about every team at one time. I bought a Pirates helmet back in the day and the paperboy shot a hole in it with a BB gun and I made him pay me for it with interest. haha! A** whoopin avoided. I know this doesn't belong in 2016 thread, but somebody can answer:)

Love The Beast one although it didn't really look 720P to me.

I wonder if they are going to hype this one up as well and announce the announcement before hand?

Shoot The Rapids theme was rather weak wasn't it? I'm talking about serious theme if they put a water ride in the Crypt building.

Anybody have a guess on what the cost would be to add a big modern log flume or themed boat ride? Is it possible they could use the big box for a themed log/boat ride? In the same concept as this this: I would rather just use some of the many woods KI has for a new log flume, but this could be a possibility. I don't mean the same theme as this picture, but you get what I mean.

So.....now we are officially on footer watch.

Rivertown needs a big water ride for sure! I prefer it to be a brand new one as I said before. There is plenty of room in the woods between Beast and Diamondback. Make it happen KI... I mean....the area is called Rivertown after all.

See those greenish glowing eyes on the poster? Makes me wonder if KI is going to use glowing eyes along this coaster path at night. It might be a nice effect without lighting up the area TOO much.

So which clues seemed to be stretching in the teasers? "Roll out the barrels".....how does that tie into this ride? "Field of dreams"......still don't get it other than if you build it they will come.(seems more of a record breaking slogan) I think they were almost too careful with the clues this time. Mystic Timbers is not a great name, but it sure wasn't a name anybody was going to guess. I posted back in this thread about a movie called The Ruins(2008). I'm thinking somebody at KI is a fan of that movie. Killer vines in the Mayan jungle manipulate peoples minds and attack them. I was right on track with the theming there, but I couldn't think of a coaster name for killer vines. ha!

We're just getting started, but I'll go ahead and post what I want it to be. I want a record breaking log flume(as funny as that sounds) in the area between The Beast and Diamondback. Or maybe a themed boat ride like Escape From Pompeii at Busch Gardens. A super high water ride final splash down. Really miss KCKC.

I think it's so cool it goes through the woods and interacts with WWC and the train. That will be a very under-rated aspect of this ride. The fact that they put in a good ride and chances are they kept the costs down bodes well for a huge project (giga finally?) in 3-4 years. Will be a wonderful addition to Rivertown. Not thrilled with the name, but that is a small thing. I do like the mean tree logo. Instead of Mystic Timbers, I would have went Black Forest, Screaming Forest or even Mystic Forest.

It does look quite awesome, I do have to admit. I love a wooded scenery and water crossing. The elements we don't know about will be icing on the cake. The actual coaster layout and location was figured out very early in this thread. Here are a few words from the description on KI site: ..... " medusa-like growth of vines as nature moved in"...... What's so funny is that I was researching Medusa today because I was going to suggest that as a name. One of my names was Timber Falls so I want half credit. Where exactly is this shed going to be?

It's probably going to be great, but I'm not getting exactly what you've been hoping for for 25 years? You been hoping for a Racer like coaster with Beast like scenery?

CGI is most of the time stuck right around the 100 ft mark so lift hill height makes sense.

I'm sure it will be great, but isn't this just an updated version of The Racer with different scenery as far as height, hills, out and back?
