  1. Jessica was at T-wolf in 2001...I gotta admit, I wasn't too impressed. I like her and all, but you could tell she lip-synched a lot....not all of it, but a good portion...then again, so did Britney (except she synched it all - even some of the spoken stuff)...Jessica was definitely an easier concert to work (as compared to Britney) - the crowd was quite a bit smaller.
  2. yea, it could be C Murf...
  3. now dat's just petty...sorry, I mean that's just petty "True That" just doesn't work, in that case it's "True Dat"
  4. sobrider is totally right....I didn't work in rides...but in almost every situation, if the employee is following procedure, the first warning is all the person needs to get security. Heck, I got security for people smoking in the shows and for using video cameras in Timberwolf...unless the employee has done something 'out of line' they will almost always side with the employee... As I said in my e-mail Yogi - Do NOT take the camera on rides....I'm guessing Yogi will agree that this topic could probably be closed now.
  5. I don't really want to get into my issues in the public forums, which is why i want Yogi to send me a private message, but let's just say I wouldn't count on getting much help from PR/Marketing...It's kind of a "been there, done that" issue....
  6. Yogi - Send me a private message....As you know I just finished my Senior Design Project....lots of video & pictures....I'll give ya info ya need...
  7. I wasn't gonna comment on this stuff, but nobody "needs" to smoke...They choose to smoke....JMO!
  8. Actually #6 is correct, but it should be worded differently...Something Like, "Which of the following rides has a miniature version for kids?" The current question makes it sound like the kid's ride should be listed.
  9. I was gonna say the same thing about Oktoberfest... Actually the habitat did close in 1992...Top Gun opened in 1993, the year Paramount purchased the park. #25 however should have different options, because two of them are actually correct answers...I understand one is more exact but two are correct.
  10. Well, Jenna is the only girl left so I guess you mean her!? I don't like her either...I was actually kind of hoping Christy would win or at least get to the final 4.
  11. I don't know about that...I think it's anyone's game now...If that last challenge is a mental/physical combo - like standing on a log...I think it could be anyone, probably Matt...I personally don't like anyone that's left though... Heidi was SO stupid with her little 'speech' last night....
  12. You are correct....It does not have on-ride photos...at least not to my knowledge...I haven't ridden this year....I could see them being added though - on the 'big drops' - get half of the people one direction, the other half on the way back...
  13. Picture it: The summer of 1998, The PKI Ushers are tired of hearing the same questions over and over - So, we make our annual T-shirt, this time consisting of a top 10 list. Yes, this is real - I have the shirt right in front of me - and yes, these are actual questions we have been asked! Top 10 Questions Of 1998 That Drive Us Crazy 10. Is This Timberwolf? (Asked at the International Showplace) 9. When Does The Movie Start? (Referring to the Titanic exhibit that came to the park, that consisted of props and costumes.) 8. Does This Cost Anything? (Refering to the shows) 7. Is This Rope Here For A Reason? Is This Fence Here For A Reason? (Asked at the International Showplace and at the Slime Bowl) 6. Do You Work Here, Or Are You Just Milling About? 5. Is That Ohio Time? (There are quite a few visitors from Indiana) 4. Is This The Ice Show? (Asked at Paramount Theatre) 3. Do You Really Get Paid To Do That? (One of my favs.) 2. Is This The Phantom Of The Opera/Smurf/Small World Ride? (Asked At Enchanted Theatre - this one drove me NUTZ!) 1. Where Is The Closest Restroom? Is That REALLY The Closest Restroom? (Another one of my favs.) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ beastfreak - I have also been asked where the Eiffel Tower is, but actually in some parts of the park, you can't see the Tower...If you stand by the Back Porch - the trees completely block your view, I had someone ask me that while I was working at the Porch and I and turned around and it wasn't there...threw me for a loop! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Heck I've also been asked... "Where Is Big Ben?" --- "Um, in London?!" "Where Is Mickey?" --- "Um, in Florida!? We don't mention the mouse here!" Our Question to some guests...not all, just some! "Where's your brain?" --- "Um, in the parking lot!?"
  14. I did like Marquesas too.... Was Africa even worth watching?
  15. Good - Thinking the same guy, didn't know if he was still around.
  16. Who's the "best" Shaggy? I have someone in mind - same person as you? Skittles anyone?!
  17. Shaggy - I was gonna say something too about him not being in the first season...I'm also glad to see someone else agrees that Australia was the best season.
  18. I knew they looked different (in your pictures)....that's why I had to ask!
  19. Oh I remember hearing about the parties.... Maybe if I get out to the park this year I'll try and find him....Not working there anymore...last year was it for me....I think 8 is enough....ok, bad joke....
  20. They stuck him in the lot?! That's interesting... Let's just say as an usher (I ushered for 6 of my 8 years) - you get to know quite a few of the guys in security...I've probably seen you a time or two as well....Enchanted Theatre was always a place to get out of the sun....same with Paramount Theatre.... Never been to his parties....
  21. Yogi - Are all of those pix of PKI characters? First off, they all look brand new (i.e. Dino and Scooby). Also, when did PKI start having Dastardly and Muttley....Shaggy is a costume? I thought it would be like with the show - just a person dressed like him....One other thing...is it any easier to see out of the new Scooby? - I know the old ones were kinda rough to see out of...
  22. DL - This is kind of a side note that I've been meaning to ask - Is C. Murphy around again year? Just curious...
  23. That's kinda true.... People are there all of the time.... Lil Bow Wow was there last year and the year before Al Snow (the wrestler) was there last year Nick Lachey and the other member of 98 Degrees have been there (Side Note: Only Nick & Justin actually worked at PKI) Montell Williams is there almost every season (He's a huge fan of The Beast) You never know who you might run into. Maybe Tara Patrick will come back to her old stomping grounds one day...
  24. I don't think 'thrill' can always be defined. Everyone has a different interpretation. I've only been on Delirium once and all I can really say is I enjoyed every second of it (once my nerves of the first-ride were out of the way)...I think 'thrill' is just a general feeling you get from a ride...just an overall excitement of being on the ride - not necessarily from a certain aspect of the ride. Does that make some sense?!
  25. As someone said there were two versions...Originally on "The Enchanted Voyage", you rode around in boats through different scenes featuring the various HB characters. This was then changed to "The Enchanted Voyage Featuring The Smurfs"...same basic concept except it was themed to the Smurfs...I don't remember the original...but after working Enchanted Theatre (which took the place of the Enchanted Voyage - along with Phantom Theater) for so many years, I learned the history after so many people kept asking for the Smurf ride (even though it was long gone)....Hope that helps!
