I really think that if Kings Island doesn't do a tunnel at the bottom of the first drop, they will be missing out. A tunnel would be perfect for a space like/ sci-fi themed coaster.

Maybe a themed tunnel at the first drop. Not just a tunnel that you go through like Leviathan, but a tunnel with theming. Maybe fog or a light effect simulating traveling through space.

Speaking of countdowns, I wonder why Kings Island doesn't have a countdown to the announcement on their website yet. It's less than a week until the announcement.

Diamondback track arrived early in 2008. Like July! So maybe we could see track soon.

**DOUBLE POST** I was also thinking. What if they took out Backlot Stunt Coaster and put in something like Maverick in that spot. I know not likely since Cedar Fair isn't likely going to work with Intamin anytime soon. But they could maybe theme it to Rivertown since BLSC is sorta in Rivertown and at the same time, not really. I think that area would look much better tied into Rivertown and with a multi launch coaster or blitz.

I've had the idea before where they could convert the former FOF photo area into a gift shop. I know it's not too likely, but it's possible. I think we're going to see more than just the coaster to that area. Cedar Fair doesn't usually just plop a coaster in an area without doing other things in that area. I think we'll see the concrete ripped up and replaced with pavers next year as well.

Also, where do you all think they will sell merch for this coaster? According to the blueprints, there doesn't look to be any gift shop. Maybe they'll do one separately or maybe they'll sell merch for it around the park? It's understandable why they didn't do a gift shop for Mystic Timbers since there are already a gift shop right next to it. But there is no gift shop right there by the coaster. I'm just curious.

So do you think they'll project the announcement on the FOF building? Probably the hanger like portion that has the red doors? I see enough room there for a stage to be set up and the video played above it on the wall.

I don't want a dive. But if we get one I won't whine and complain.

I wonder if Kings Island will leave us with some type of thing to speculate on after the announcement. I'm starting to doubt it myself, but anything's possible.

When do you all think they'll put a poster up on the fence about the announcement date? I know they had one for Mystic Timbers and they already announced the date for this one.

So you want them to build a second hyper that's smaller than their current hyper?

Looks like they are using it for FOF next year as an extended queue.

Do you think before the park closes for the season that they will do a special meetup where they do a walkthrough of the construction site? Similar to the antique cars and Steel Vengeance? Maybe even do one in the offseason? I would love Kings Island to do a Winter Chill Out type event like what CP and Carowinds does.

Or just do a cam for each section of the park. (Rivertown Cam, Coney Mall Cam, Action Zone Cam, International Street Cam, Planet Snoopy Cam).

Didn't Cedar Fair say they don't want to change the entrance of the park? So I don't think we are looking at too much in terms of interacting with the entrance area if we're looking at a coaster in the Invertigo/Congo Falls plot.

I hate to be that guy, but I think we should continue the conversation on the next addition in the thread that is about what comes after the 2020 giga.

Or RMC Or Wing Or whatever it is the park has planned.

So we are at 358 pages on this thread! That is more than the Mystic Timbers thread had. (325 pages). Banshee had 459.

It's storming at my house! I'm about 5 minutes from the park. I wonder if our giga will have lightning rods as well.
