Probably going to Skyline since they are local lol.
-
I mentioned this earlier.
-
It will be a few weeks until they start on the lift. They have to finish the brake run first I believe. But I do think they'll try to have the lift hill done before the Winter Solstice since it is projected to be a very harsh winter and nothing is worse than being up 300+ feet in the air in brutal cold. Edit: I just saw a truck pull in with what I believe are supports.
-
I think they just moved over the transfer track piece and now it's connected with the other track!
-
It was at the piece getting it ready, but it moved away from it.
-
Crane looks to be getting ready to move another brake run piece. Edit: Never mind it moved away from that piece, but it was at that piece getting it ready.

Orion Coming to Kings Island in 2020
Hawaiian Coasters 325 replied to IndyGuy4KI's topic in Kings Island Central Newsroom
According to this screenshot from the POV video, at the top of the hill you are going to notice being up near the WindSeeker riders or quite possibly higher. That is if WindSeeker is at it's highest point when you crest the top. -
I'm guessing the crews don't usually do much on the weekends because I didn't really see them do much on the weekends. Millennium Force is 310 feet tall lol.
-
Yeah it probably will close for fireworks like Beast does. Especially since it is located right next to the launching pad.

Here is a new concept I made for a b&m dive coaster in the Invertigo/Congo Falls area! I give you Haunted Escape!
-
I think was a little skinny stream of water flowing through there at one point.
-
My main question is how will people get to field of screams this season during construction?
-
Yeah because the trains are wider.
-
Yeah! I saw it on a drone video on YouTube that I tried to upload on here, but I forgotten about the "no drone video" rules so it got taken down.
-
So you went flying again? Can you do us a favor and fly a lot during the off season? Thanks!

Here are some clear pics from Buckeye Coasters on Facebook. He was at p&g day today!

I definitely would love an Intamin blitz, but unfortunately I think it's a very low chance we'll ever see an Intamin coaster in the Cedar Fair chain again!
-
Are the workers off today? Doesn't look like much is going on right now.

Possibility of another 200ft+ Coaster
Hawaiian Coasters 325 replied to SonofBaconator's topic in KI Polls
I feel that if KI were to get an RMC, it would be a ground up topper track because KI likes being known for their woodies and would probably want to add more to their already awesome wooden coaster collection. Also, I think it would be different enough from Steel Vengeance. Steel Vengeance is a wood steel hybrid and this would be considered a wooden coaster (even though it's different than a traditional wooden coaster). -
Possibility of another 200ft+ Coaster

Also, RMC was new to Cedar Fair so it took them a while to get most of the problems fixed. Lightning Rod was the first ever launched woodie so that's why it had all that downtime. It was a new type of coaster that has never been done before. Of course there will still be some downtime here and there, but that's part of a rollercoaster. All coasters even the most reliable coasters will have downtime at some point. I do hope that Cedar Fair continues to work with RMC and build nice coasters even at KI! And maybe build some raptor models at some of the smaller parks and maybe build one of the first giant Trexes at Cedar Point! -
I second this! @sixohdieselrage

I think what's going to happen is they'll put up the brake run and then after that is done in about a week or so if you ask me, then they'll start on the lift hill. They'll have to get the large cranes in before they start on the lift hill. Banshee I think started with the transfer track area and then brake run and then lift hill.
-
They seem to be lifting another piece or at least getting ready to.
-
That looks about right. Also, I'm probably just imagining things, but they look to be moving one of the turn into station track pieces. EDIT: I think that track piece is being put into place!!!! EDIT: That piece is in place!!!!
-
They seem to be laying something down under the station track. Looks yellow from the webcam.
