So I had a dream last night that the announcement was held in an airport gate area and the coaster was 296 feet tall with a 50 foot drop not making it a giga. Let me say that most of us were mad lol.
-
Unfortunately I don't think it's clear enough outside.
-
Nope I didn't. John Matarese already has a report out today on CSF. I'm going to try and slow down on messaging him because it seems like you guys don't like me doing it. I don't want to bother him too much. In fact, I try to wait for him to respond before I message him.

https://www.wcpo.com/money/consumer/dont-waste-your-money/kings-island-new-coaster-track-ready-for-assembly Anyways, here is the latest WCPO article on this!
-
I promise you that I won't send him anymore messages today.
-
Someone on Facebook in a live video said he predicts that the theme of this coaster will be you're on a mission to save the world.
-
Thanks @IndyGuy4KI for all you do! This is a fun place. Anyways, John Matarese just responded to me. It turns out WCPO was originally supposed to do it, but they had Breaking News to report on so they couldn't go.

I know this is kinda strange, but I think the start-up sound from PlayStation 2 kinda fits with the theming.

Yeah I hope will have a similar light package to Fury. If not, I hope it's colorful and not the boring white dots going up the hill. If I had my way, the light package would be a mix of Fury and Millennium Force. Where the supports are lit up from the ground like Mille and one long light that goes up the lift.

It's lift or drop. Apollo's Chariot is marketed as a hyper and the height is under 200' but the drop is over 200'.
-
They are. I'll go ahead and tell him you took those screenshots.

This enthusiast I know who is very experienced does not believe in the 296'/301' height/drop.
-
I'm keeping the 296'/301' height/drop for now. If I'm wrong, I'll eat my words. Imo the chances of it being bigger is very low.
-
The number that many believe is 355 was at the bottom of that calendar in the poster. Seems like it was cut out of the picture here.
-
**DOUBLE POST** Are we sure that it's for KI or could it also be for Candymonium?
-
I'm currently sticking with the 296'/301' height/drop. But if I'm wrong and it's higher, I'll gladly eat my words!
-
I've been there on dead days where they've ran both.
-
Probably the wheel game. I know that someone who was in front of me in line for Mystic that night got one and got to use it.

Nick Universe Remembered (photos)
Hawaiian Coasters 325 replied to CrashOverRided's topic in Kings Island History
It was. Lazytown Sporticopters was the name. Mainly named after Sportacus' Airship. That's mainly why that song makes me think of the Nickelodeon days of Kings Island because I rode that ride a lot when I was little. Even though they never played that song (at least when I was there). -

Resurrecting the thread again. I know I'm a little old for this. I'm 17 years old, but this song from the show Lazytown actually makes me think of the Nickelodeon days of Kings Island! -
Banshee FLP was crazy opening day, but they didn't do a large season pass preview event for Banshee and they were handing out free shirts for the first 5,000 riders. Didn't do that for Mystic Timbers. MT I was there for pass preview and they didn't use the FLP. Not sure on opening day though. I do know that on season pass preview for mystic, some people did get front of line passes.

Someone thought it was Fred Grubb walking around with Greg Scheid. It wasn't confirmed it was Fred Grubb though.

Is it just me or does it look like there are stars in the background of that poster?
