Hawaiian Coasters 325

Turns out someone on Instagram got some new footer blueprints! It is for the drop and first turn and helix. Not sharing photos because they aren't mine and I don't know if he's on here. But just letting you know there are new blueprints at the city hall.

Maybe they are doing it so that they know when it's a good idea to send out the announcement date and send the media invites to the news stations.

Getting close to 1,500 signatures!

Mystic Timbers was announced July 28th, 2016.

Look at this one! I didn't know Donald Trump is interested in Kings Island lol! Also I just signed the petition!

I'm at KI and the large footer where the base of the lift is has been poured. I don't have pics though.

Someone at the park told me they could scan the poster and it took them right to the petition website! So yeah, definitely created by the park! Maybe that confirms we are getting close to an announcement!

I also wish Cedar Fair would work with Intamin again because Pantheon looks really cool for Busch Gardens Williamsburg! I wish we could get something like that, but Intamin would have to prove themselves to Cedar Fair!

I still have yet to do lrotnob. The thing is my family does not like staying late and if we stay til close, we leave right after the fireworks.

I should be going up around dinner, but that depends on this stormy weather we are having right now.

So if/when KI starts to send media invites to the announcement, what do you think they would send with the invite? They usually send some type of little teaser thing with it. For example: the comb for Banshee, the truck for MT, and the key for the antique cars. I was thinking along the lines of maybe a small telescope or a small model rocket ship or something like that.

I just remembered something, a park worker on the Eiffel Tower elevator said the 275' platform is the highest point in the park (where people can go). Drop Tower riders if I'm thinking correctly only go up 264 feet. If all this is the case, this coaster will be considered the highest point in the park. The 296-301' height/drop people are talking about is higher than the top platform of the Eiffel Tower. So they can easily market this bad boy as the highest point in the park. Just a thought.

They obviously wouldn't touch the entrance building since there is a purpose of that.

I made a B&M launched wing coaster using that whole area. It also comes with a new concert lawn area where spiritsong and other events can still be held. Enter that under the brake run. Plus a large plaza that can be used as the entry to the coaster as well as festivities for concert events. The name for the coaster is Falcon. The coaster also crosses over the front entrance path similar to GateKeeper, but not over the entrance building.

I've said that Timberwolf should not go, but I believe if it does go, the park and Spiritsong would still find a way to host the event.

This location definitely sounds like a perfect location for the next coaster. The type? I'm going back and forth between multiple. An RMC would definitely be my top choice.

Yeah, Thunderbirds announcement looked really fun with that guy pumping everyone up and talking to people and asking guests questions. I wish Kings Island would do something similar! Also sorry for the double post.
