Doubt it. The trees are probably way too large to transplant. Not to mention the root systems in the ground.

I looked closer an it appears that the trees are indeed gone.

True, true. But I think that a Giga would be a fine way to celebrate 50 years. 50 years is a milestone in a business.

I personally think it would make much more sense to add a Giga in 2022, the parks 50th anniversary.

@SonofBaconator, the biggest cosmetic change in my opinion would be in Oktoberfest. Think about it, there are no original rides, very little original theme, and over the years the skyline has changed. The pictures in the Oktoberfest changes through the years thread speaks for itself.

That is because the International Restaurant was not built on the main gate until I believe 1973.

I'm not anti- american, but it is absolutely ANNOYING when I try to take a somewhat decent photo of IS with the tower and those flag poles in the way. Just keep them outside the park in front of the main gate.

Exactly. I don't understand why you would want to jump into a fountain that has geese droppings in it (literally; I can't tell you the last time I didn't see a goose in the fountain).

They should also put the antenna back on the Tower to make it look taller and more style-ish. Who was to stop someone from going into the fountain before this? All there was is a small concrete wall with a small rail...... but, I see your point.

KI's Giga for 2022 is being built in the fountain! Named: "Mystic Mysts"

I'm excited too! I believe the addition of "international" themes will not only benefit the park, but the guests as well.
