I would love to see Orion run during Winterfest. You would need lots of layers of clothes to ride that in the cold winter weather though.
-
Maybe they just worded it weird. It would be awesome to have multiple gigas though.
-
Kings Island.
-
Now that we have hit a major milestone in Orion's construction, maybe @JonahWilliamson could use his photoshop magic to fill out the progress?
-
I'm not mad at Kings Island anymore. Glad they gave us this video.
-
They have installed pavement that I think is for the cranes to move on. here is an old webcam pic showing it.
-
That article says Orion is 300 feet towering 70 feet above Dimondback. I wish.
-
What about these trains? Source: https://www.reddit.com/r/rollercoasters/comments/1uzdp8/the_worlds_longest_rollercoaster_train/
-
Dimondback's angle is 74 degrees, and Orion's is 85 degrees.

I love that first picture! It really shows how massive Orion is.
-
I think somewhere around 50 degrees. But I may be wrong.
-
Most likely tomorrow.
-
Has there been a webcam update like this one in the past?
-
Maybe Artemis is picking up another piece of track?
-
I would say its a 50 50 chance for topping off today or tomorrow.
-
Seeing orion from the entrance will be insane!
-
I will bet that.
-
Also the 2nd and 3rd tunnel are connected as the 2nd tunnel which wasn't added until later.
-
It looks like all of the track that is disconnected from the spine is assembled!
-
Yeah, like how they say "Gentlemen, start your engines!" On I305. I would love it if they said T-minus how ever many seconds until dispatch.
-
So I checked out that WCPO video that people where talking about the other day, and the Orion segment was from the tour they took 20 days before. It really makes you wonder what this "Software update" is.

Shall we go over the positives? 1. Hands down best drop on a roller coaster (from what Iv'e ridden) 2. Fun and forceful overbanks (the first one makes me gray out) 3. Amazing airtime 4. Beautiful view of Lake Erie 5. Beautiful colors + light pack 6. Non restrictive restraints All of these are based on my opinion though. And I respect that everyone has their own opinions.

We cant assume things though. None of us have ridden Orion. Though Millie's drop is one of the best out there imo.
