  1. But, is current management/ownership of Holiday World in it for the long run? And what are their long term goals and philosophies? And, most importantly, who are THEY and when? That remains to be seen.
  2. Nope. 12/15/15. Destroyed. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Shi2Pu9lmdY
  3. At one time, Saturday ERT was an hour. But, be grateful; at many parks there is none. At all.
  4. I heard a guy by the name of Harry Traver made some really great roller coasters. Enthusiasts loved them. The general public, who paid by the ride back then, not so much. And the maintenance costs were incredible...
  5. And you can pay all the attention in the world. If a badly designed intersection causes another driver to make a last second error and collide with you, paying attention will not prevent the collision. And you may have nowhere to escape to and/or no time to do so.
  6. Lance has a source...a goddess in her own press. I have other sources. And tea is good.
  7. And if you are not there VERY early, the first two lefts after the tolls will be coned off...
  8. One question, then. If it isn't as bad as many (NOT everyone--I despise over-generalizations), why on EARTH are those poles there? Well?
  9. Uh, they are Boo Blasters under the ride Boo Blasters On Boo Hill. Why on earth would they be called Boo Blasters as Scooby Doo?
  10. An important thread for many. And the Timberliners never operated at Holiday World with public aboard. Future of Voyage under this management? How will the legend be affected? Why were Timberliners being considered to start with? Things to ponder. Especially now. . . 2016 a pivotal year? A midcourse correction coming? What do you maintain?
  11. Living in DC has spoiled me. Metro and walking can get you nearly anywhere.
  12. I once walked to the Sunoco plaza on Western Row. I don't recommend doing that.
  13. ...or near the South Exit starting around 11 AM...
  14. In much the same way. They, however, do not seem to be drastically understaffing their food service. And the plans are priced higher.
  15. It's primarily not the employees who are the problem or need to see this. They don't buy the equipment, design the restaurant or the menu. Management. Again.
  16. As if service at LaRosa's in the park wasn't slow enough already.
  17. This confuses me a bit. Been scratching my head for the last couple minutes. The Coca-Cola Company is a major sponsor at Kings Island. The prominent appearance of brand MD from P did in the trailer tower on Kings Island Central.
  18. As long as brand M D from P is left out, I doubt the problems of the past would repeat.
  19. I'm always amazed the LaRosa's and Skylines of the world don't get upset at the "versions" of their products dished out at the park. For LaRosa's, for example, the pepperoni is atop the cheese on pizzas. In the stores, nope.
  20. Welcome to KIC. You will find the info here more accurate than an app. See also: http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php/topic/31930-theme-park-app/
  21. Drop Tower would be far less easily moved, and as has been said here, would more likely be scrapped... Removal of the Knott's WindSeeker can hardly be called an optional choice...
  22. Because Ohio is so renowned for bluegrass and horse racing. Kingdom Island. That'll work.
  23. I wish them every success. I spent many a happy hour at Bushkill Park in my younger days.
