  1. Part of it is the road construction on Kings Island Drive. That part will eventually go away. Part of it is guest unfamiliarity. That, too, will go away. More slowly. Part of it is guests, mostly early in the day, either accidentally or on purpose, sneaking into the exits. ( Saves $18 if you don't have a parking pass. And it's faster. Or a honest mistake) This is a SERIOUS problem. To add to this, to exit the south exit that time of day, you must cross incoming park traffic that thinks you are trying to cut line. It gets really ugly really fast.
  2. The more I think about it, the more I realize that the park MUST do something about the old South Exit. A. It looks like an entrance. I saw (and heard of) many cars entering there. That's dangerous, and someone is NOT going to have a best day ever there. Perhaps soon. B. You risk your life, limb and property trying to exit there if cars are entering the parking lot from the new tolls. Plus, those coming in mistakenly think you are trying to cut line and try to cut you off. Even with a police officer, I and Scooby nearly got hit. I'm not sure, but I think the driver was texting on top of that. I'd suggest closing the south exit and removing its signage, but the park's exits and traffic problems wouldn't allow that. Getting out of that lot at 10 PM is worse than 90 percent of the parks I've been to. That's sad. This needs fixed. And soon.
  3. And it was at least 115 degrees in most of it. The ride was abysmal. Better than the food service, though...
  4. The near silence from this park is deafening. Terp, notin'
  5. And before anyone says, "They didn't used to do that," the launch site was moved.
  6. Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, Kings Island is now closed. As a reminder, the park is NOT open to the general public tomorrow, Sunday, April 17.
  7. I just don't want CoastersRZ to have apoplexy. Like telling a lawyer about assault (which lay people batter).
  8. Then there you go. And it was attributed. So we are good. Carry on.
  9. I had a footer at Putz's today. And a cherry malt. Footings are the pillars of stuff... Footers are a Midwest thing. And Subway. Sort of.
  10. They NEED power hours. In Food Service. How about 11:30 - 2:30 and 5:00 to 8:00 DAILY?
  11. 37 years later, still a VERY popular ride. Especially at night.
  12. And posting those images on a public forum is a violation of the terms of service for the program. It's no different than posting a professional photographer's work. EDIT: Keep reading...
  13. And saying it was on YouTube, twitter, or Google Earth is not a link.
  14. Wait times for food service also welcome (to be posted here--the waits themselves are tragic).
  15. That certain CF park doesn't have to deal with as harsh of winters as Kings Island as well. HUH?Two rides lost. Disaster Transport and Sky Tower. Sandusky winters are far, far worse than Mason's. Whatever are you talking about? EDIT: Simultaneous replies.
  16. Time to fire this back up for 2016:
  17. ...not if you have the dining plan. Which is why the park wants you to.
  18. Yep. Someone knows. See also the maps at the assessor's office. Helpful Terp
  19. Welcome back! While you were gone, the TOS changed. Links to others' works are now required. So please post links to those. And, again, welcome back! EDIT: See below.
  20. Sure there is. Dining plans. Get the guest money up front. Worry not about service, selection or food quality. They already have your money. You'll wait. And like it. And if you don't, they STILL have your money. Putz's was excellent, by the way...
  21. Nope. It fits in a park like Holiday World is now. All hype, no substance. It's satisfying, but only for a little while.
