  3. Thanks for the comments, yeah the area really looks different now. They took down some really good looking trees, they need to be put back up. That would make a nice effect of trees near the track to hide it, just like The Beast and or Expedition GeForce.
  4. Man those are some really nice pictures there KI Man. And nice trip report.
  5. Nice trip report, I was apart of that. (A lot of people there)
  6. I don't know if that's how high they will go, but it will be warm on Friday.
  7. For me the second hill, the amount of floating you get is just unreal. Almost feels like Millennium Force's 3rd hill.
  8. Nice and detailed TR Rotag1299. So there was people there waiting before 5am lol. Around 1pm the line had shorten around the I-Street showplace, I was going to wait for it but my legs and knees were to sore. So we left just past 1pm, wish I had went up the Tower to take pictures of the parking lot.
  9. Witch one? Two thumbs up
  10. I have a question about the number on your ride photo, mine was 4300. Now does the mean I was the 43rd train of the day? (Red sunglass's front seat , that construction equipment wasn't in my picture)
  11. You are very lucky pkiboy, very lucky.
  12. Well don't know if its going to be packed or not, but forecast I'm seeing is temps up around high 70's and low 80's.
  13. And more, Thanks for looking, post comments if you want.
  14. These are the pictures I took starting in Oct 2006, and it leds up to yesterday April 2009. (Oct 2006) (5-23-08) (Taken Sept 2008) (Later Sept/Oct 2008) (Oct 27 2008) (Nov 2 2008) (April 18 2009)
  15. Well waiting outside the front gate, then waiting for by the ERT season pass gate, was from 7:10am till 8:55am. Then waiting 45 mins in line and for the front seat, so that would make it around 2 hours 30 mins.
  16. I will attending that, good to hear there will be ERT before the park opens up.
  17. Yeah nice video trip report, I remember standing in the station for the front seat and see that line snake back around to RiverTown. lol
  18. Smurf, Thanks I guess we were right next to each other, I remember looking back at all that people that just keep coming. That might have been the biggest crowd at the front gates at eight in the morning. I could not even believe the mob at the ERT gate. Diamondback FOF, yeah I remember my dad first telling me that the line for the ride was going all the way around the corner, and going right back to RiverTown. When we got into the station we decided that what ten more mins wouldn't hurt to get the front seat. Were was the line at when you joined it?
  19. Thanks bsktgvy, here's pictures I took of the parking lot. Oh and also when rode some other rides, they didn't have much of a wait, but Flight Deck had a line. Also The Racer Red was some what smooth, I really enjoyed it. (Parking lot pictures were taken at 10:56am) Here's the line trail starting at DB entrance. And then it snakes out and round Nick-U, down past that chicken place. Around and down the hill behind Tower, then making a right. Then snaking around past the restrooms, and just stopping around the below the lift hill. Well at 9:30am it was.
  20. Ok so I got up at 6:15am, Got the park at 7am, Waited for main gate to open at around 8am. Then waited again for the ERT gate to open around 8:55am. (Ok that's a lot of people, I mean every inch of pavement is covered.) We head to Diamondback. We joined the line at 8:59am. In the line we waited about 45 mins total. By the time we left the main queue, it had started to full up. (I know its hard to see but you can see the line that snaked around all the way back to RiverTown even before 10am. There was even a line to order a on-ride photo, and to pick it up after it had printed out. Diamondback sign and train behind it. Here's the line snaking around Nick-U and down way past that chicken place. And there was even a line for getting your Season Pass. After getting getting off DB we headed to Tower and see what the parking lot looked like, then were rode Racer, Flight Deck,Train. We left the park just past 1pm, my legs were tired and sore, so it really wasn't worth waiting in anymore lines.
  21. Nice pictures beastfan26, I plan on posting my pix from front gate and season pass ERT entrance.
  22. The only time I see them doing away with that is on the days there isn't much of a line. I think I speeds things up when they try to par up single riders, and so on.
  23. I enjoyed it very much, the front seat feels like a dream just floating going over those hills. You put your feet out in front of you, and its just amazing!!!! Diamondback is truly the new bad boy in town!!! Just look at that line it drew today.
  24. From the front seat, I will have to give it a 10/10. The amount of air-time was very good.
  25. I got there at 7am, got on the ride at 9:44am. Yeah the line before the ERT was over the line had reached around the Tower, down the hill and snaked back into RiverTown. Guess you can call me lucky only waited 2 and a half hours total, 45 min of that was in the line for Diamondback. The rest was waiting outside the front gate, and waiting for the ERT to start. We got the front, and that was so amazing!!!! Felt like a dream.
