Keep listening to your radios guys. On my drive home there was a ad for Diamondback First riders and how you could be one. Very interesting stuff. Opening day is close!

I was able to take basic Windows Movie Maker and make it look that way.

Just think of it KIC community, stretching those buses on top of each other straight up would be near the height of Diamondback.

Truly amazing video. That video gave me so much more love for our local park, looking at what it started as and what they set the park out to be when building it.

Looking at past rides the year of their opening, it seems mixed weather they put out a POV of the ride before it opens depending on the chain of the parks.

I think that title of blood red water has been given to Nemesis at Alton Towers.

The Blog is not only for construction updates, but for us, the fans. I learned from this post that not only is the local community excited for this ride, but people from as far as Michigan are just as excited as we are. This is the biggest thing to happen to Kings Island. As Don said, "Interest in Diamondback runs coast-to-coast"

It is where one side of the exit comes too.... thats all I can figure out. That is Diamondbacks Trading Post. It is the new gift shop that will be in Rivertown.

The angles seem to be sporadic, someone is probably custom moving it... maybe finding new angles!

Awesome PTR! While I may never understand the Saturn obsession, I had a great time the entire day.

Cedar Point having a non ground breaking new attraction?! What!? I love that CP is doing this, they need some new shows.

Update for anyone with Webcam problems.

Could be worse. It could be a Cedar Point webcam that refreshes every minute, plus keeps changing locations and keeps going down.

I was kind of hoping maybe they would do something with the splashdown where the water flows under the ramps. Anyone else? That would have been a wonderful feature. I doubt there would have been enough time to do such a thing in the time they had to build. I am just happy there is a water element in this ride.

From what I understand, there are no re rides for Son of Beast. They stopped double rides on it since the double rides gold pass perk.

It is a scary, yet exciting sight. Something like this has never been built at Kings Island, i'm sure it is quite a sight even for those who have gone to the park since its beginning.
