I am gonna go out on an optimistic limb and say the seats are installed tomorrow. -

This lighting preview really excites me even more to ride WindSeeker. Bring on the night rides, and imagine this thing rising out of the fog at night. -

I have been updating the webcam a lot here today and it looks like they have been running what appears to be cable or wiring to the tower, it rained for a little bit around 11:45-12:15 I think but then when I checked it later on around 1:30 the path was drying up and the sun even came out. This is just my opinion but, maybe once the wiring and all the electrical stuff gets worked out, saying that there even is any electrical stuff to go, then maybe they could even start working in the rain as they would not be dealing anymore with electricity. -

Looks like the truck is gone and not all the seats are on the ride, looking more and more dismal everyday. -

It is hard to tell now with the truck in the way but how many seats do they have left to put on? -
Look at those cars in those pictures, truly a symbol of Americana at it's finest.
-
If you look closely on the maintenance trucks you can see where they have peeled off the Paramount Mountains, very clearly actually. Someone has already mentioned it but White Water Canyon still has the old cutout of the mountains on it.

It really does sadden me to see SOB just standing there dormant, almost creepy in some ways. I miss the old ride with the loop and I even miss the new ride with that awful new section of track. I am really looking forward to the future of Son of Beast.

I got the opportunity to ride Ghoster Coaster once and from what I remember it was more like a leisure stroll atop the trees, until the very end, then ouch. The only calling card for the ride in my opinion was the elevator style lift system.

I have the utmost faith in the crew working on this ride that it will indeed be up and ready to go by opening day. You would think that if the ride was not going to be ready that the park would have already stated on it's Facebook, Blog, and through it's Twitter account that the ride will indeed not be open. No such thing has been said yet, to my knowledge at least. -

Looks like they are getting the blue rails put up that go around the ride platform, queue lines next perhaps? -
^Very well said, if you look at it from the point of view, we only get to see 9 more of Paul's Photos. I am hoping he has saved an extra special one for Friday the 29th.

I am getting more nervous by the day. I am really looking forward to riding WindSeeker on opening day but by the looks of things, it may not happen after all. -
Imagine what that caption would have read at that time if they had seen Diamondback.

If you have the print out then you just have to go to the park and get it processed. Is that what you are talking about? Yes, that's what I mean. I just wish there was a way to put in your previous pass information and then put in the number on the barcode from the printout and be able to do it all online. I guess it's not a big deal, though. Hopefully I won't need one. If you have had a pass last year then all you had to do was go to the instant renewal section and enter the barcode, then pay the fee. As long as you have the printout with the bar code on it then you can get it processed at the park. If you do not want to wait in the processing line then you can get one entry into the park with the print out and then you can wait and spend the day in the park and process before you leave.

Getting down to less than two weeks to go, I hope they get everything put in place and get it open for us on the 30th! -
Last year I had the same exact question and the sure fire answer is yes. I just went to KI on processing days and paid the difference, which I am wanting to say was around 70 dollars. Well worth every 70 extra dollars I spent.
-
I am a proud owner of the 30th Anniversary map as well, I think that was the same year the Unofficial Guide Book to PKI came out, which was something I have read cover to cover several times.

If it went 61 MPH, then yes. But as stated before, it doesn't. FoF is faster, Vortex is faster, I'm not very sure about Firehawk though.. FoF & Firehawk are in X-BASE, instead of Coney Mall. That's where you're wrong! X-base is considered part of Coney mall. could have sworn X-BASE was it's own area... I think most would agree that it should be its own area, but technically it is not. If you added a couple more attractions back there and perhaps a place to eat or a little shop, then yes I would have to agree, but with having only two coasters back there in an area that is not very big. Then no, I think it fits perfectly in Coney Mall.

I really did not know Dueling Dragons became Dragon Challenge, it used to be in the lost continent section of the park I thought? It has been a while since I have been down there. Very nice PTR and very nice photos.

Glad you got to enjoy your 3 walk on's on the Hulk, I must admit I am jealous. Spider Man is nothing less than what you described it as, amazing. For said rides I got to ride them both once and the wait times were about 90-120 minutes, and 180 minutes, respectively. I cannot wait to read the rest and se what you thought of Dueling Dragons.

I think you could post a photo of a rock on the ground and this community would find some way to turn it into the tallest and fastest coaster in the world. I love the enthusiast communities.

As much as I cannot wait to see that, do not bring Haunt up, that signifies the end of the season sadly. But it will be cool none the less. I cannot wait to see the lighting on this ride, cannot wait to get a night ride on this puppy.
