So pertaining to the opening of the park, any ideas on ERT rides? Do you think WindSeeker will be a ride included in the ERT where it's new? I know that this would most likely require the opening of BLSC, and Vortex as well as they would be right in the path the ERT'ers would take, but then again Thr Crypt is right between The Beast and Diamondback. I would love to see an addition to ERT, or vary up the rides on different days. Posted from my iPhone!!!!

^Negative fun factor meaning, it is more of a pain to ride than it is to have fun. As soon as you come out of the station around the turn you instantly know you are not going to have any fun.

I will probably have to go with Predator at Darien Lake, I am not a big fan of Mean Streak, the fun factor is almost in the negatives for me.

As of Sunday, I might have a new favorite meal in the park ad it rightly cheap. A potato works bucket of fries, with some barbecue sauce, it is quite the enjoyable meal for the right price. Add a free water in there and ride on Boo Blasters, I do declare you have yourself a lunch.

I guess I will also have to include in my favorite memory, me and fighting31irish getting a fist pump from Gary Coleman on the last rides of The Beast, I felt as if my life was complete right then and there. Posted from my iPhone!!!

I am finding it hard to fathom a 218 foot power dive at an angle of 79 degrees, that would be quite the drop on a coaster. I would hope they would re-profile and replace the area where the loop once was and give us something like a bunny hill or a section of track that actually provided an element of thrill.

I wonder how long it would take a coaster with epic size like SOB, to get re-tracked. Being the second longest wooden roller coaster and going to the utmost extreme in terms of height.

Pssh, what are you talking about? That ride's station is totally much cooler with those plywood walls around it. Haha that post literally made me laugh so hard. We all know they just don't want us to see that they are starting to re-track the inside of the station.

What way do you come North or South on I71? I can answer that question for him, we...errr....he comes from south of Kings Island, through Cincinnati. Pass Kings Auto Mall, then there is the Warren County watertower, then the row of trees and after that the view of the park comes into sight.

Adam, by looking at that calender you linked, KI actually closes down before Halloween is over, kind of bummer it's not open one more weekend. I do like seeing daily operation starting so soon though. The only sad thing is, we are 1 day, yes 1 day into the off-season.

After looking Nighthawk at Carowinds, I don't know if I would like to see Flight Deck in a bright yellow and blue color scheme. I would rather see it colored like Nighthawk was when it was Borg, black with maybe some green track. I could go for a bright blue track and black supports maybe. The important things is, if it does get a color scheme, it will look much better.

Very nice pictures, good to see some shots of Top Gun as it was and King Cobra. I also noticed that Skylab shot you threw in there as well. Very nice pictures.

Yes it can, take a look at this year for instance, October weather was almost scary perfect to go to Kings Island. Besides the 31st, I went two other times and was in a t-shirt and jeans and was actually hot at some points. Overall I believe we had a great year for weather.

That would be amazing to see pictures from the park at that time, please do post them.

What changes or additions are you most looking forward to seeing in 2011. For me it is WindSeeker, obviously, and what is going to happen with Son of Beast. I am also looking forward to see what changes are being made to the park, like last year where the divider in Beast's ramp was removed. I know it is a little bit early to speculate, but think of this as your Christmas list for changes to be made, a wish list might have you. One wish is that those buckets under Flight Deck are or a paint job on the coaster.

I will also always remember my first visit to Boomerang Bay, and those Sunday's in October where there were no lines and it was a bit chilly outside. As well as my opening day that started at 5:30 AM leaving Richmond, and ended leaving the park at roughly 11 o clock after riding The Beast. So many memories this season.
