Did I ask about Pepsi trademarks? lol

When the attendants at the front gate scan your pass your photo shows up on the screen in front of them.

what is your ideal rollercoaster?
Gordon Bombay replied to pkitrumpet08's topic in Coming Attractions
X-Flight, hands down the best coaster I've been on yet. Millenium Force, Magnum, and TTD are all great rides along with the classics at KI like The Beast and King Cobra and you cant beat coasters like TG:TJC at Carowinds, but that feeling of flying is unlike anything in the world. X flight is great.....the park its at...well that place could use some work.....heres to X flight coming to KI and GL getting better and not becoming a housing development. -
Well this is a good start. It's perty darn nice to see all the P stuff go by the wayside. How is it they say? Don't let the door hit ya in the ...... They didn't. Mr. Weber is now at Palace Entertainment, where he will doubtless give Mr. Kinzel a run for his money. Funny, Mr. Kinzel could have kept him, but CHOSE to let him go and become a competitor. Go figure! Personally I hope Al Weber gives Kinzel a run for his money, unless that is Mr. Weber wants to buy all the prototype water rides so Palace ent. can be known as "innovators" like Paramount parks were. Oh well, the paramount may be gone and some consider that mountain in front of the tower to be as bad as the nazi flag flying over France in 1941. Like you Woofer, I'm hoping CF will bring good things to a park that had its good and awful years under Paramount, it will be interesting to see if Kinzel breaks his strategy of "Make Cedar Point awesome and treat the other parks like crap". -CombatStupendous89......who has never been impressed with a Cedar Fair park except Cedar Point.

^They could avoid any and all awful lines by just opening up the processing areas two weeks before the season opens.
-
Anyone know if they will have pass processing before the season opens that way no one gets stuck in that awful line like last year?
-
^Id take real New York pizza over anything Ohio has to offer.

^A lot of schools around my area have banned the shoes and a lot of public places as well, theres a lot of restaraunts around here with signs in the door saying you cant bring them in. I shoot pictures up at the local skatepark sometimes and the guys who work there are constantly kicking kids out for using those shoes in there and getting in peoples way.

I wonder will these coasters have any chance of being relocated? It doesnt seem likely at all, I've heard of wooden rollercoasters being relocated before but from what I've heard psyclone is not a good coaster at all and flashback never operates. I remember the movie rollercoaster, when they went to magic mountain and how beautiful the place looks in that film. Even back in the 90's you couldnt put in a warner brothers vhs tape without seeing a magic mountain advertisement. Its sad to see that park has little hope left. Oh well....SFGADV seems like a darn good replacement for a flagship park.

^Chicago Pizza co. in Van Wert ohio is darn good, I usually go there on my way to Indiana and Marions pizza in dayton is worth mentioning.

Gotta agree with you there, those things are annoying as hell. I've seen so many cocky 12 year olds bite the dust at Kings Island while going down The Beast's exit ramp its not even funny. I have a few different pairs of converse chuck taylors, but walking around in those all day give you no support and hurt really bad. I usually wear my Red and Black CKY Adios.

Yes it does, and if you dont own the trade mark, certain contractural obligations must be in place, you can not just use a trademark that is owned by another company. CF had congratural rights from Six Flags to use the trade mark.
-
^hahaha, I wouldnt be surprised if we saw the current thunderhawk get moved to KI or another park in a few years.
-
^No its not a sin, you just act childish and stupid then feel like you need to personally attack everyone on here after we catch you making false claims and the fact that you like to lie about everything on here, I never said you were going to hell. You came to this site attacking me first then proceeded to attack other members. You lied, you were wrong, we caught you. Your done.
-
^What? That post makes absolutely no sense, and yes they do have to copyright if they want to give it a logo, sign, or any type of merchandies, for someone who claims to be 35 you certainly arent very bright.
-
^Yes, read you moron, Reclaimer already posted that you can purchase the trade mark for Firehawk, if CF was calling it that they'd already own the trade mark to keep someone from buying it and de-railing their plans this late. There are multiple sites where you can find out about copyright information and trade marks and whats for sale. From the NYSE to Wikipedia, even to the delves of Cedar Fair.com They dont own the trade mark buddy, theyre not calling it that.
-
Dude, its already been proven that it wont be called that. You should read before you lie.
-
Yes, and since you can see the trade marks they own, and they do own many, you can get a good idea of what it might be called, however Firehawk is not one of them, and the ride will not be called that.
-
^I could purchase the rights to the name "Firehawk" right now and that would completely screw over Cedar Fair. If they were calling it that, they would already own the trade marks. That right there tells you its not going to be Firehawk.

Doesnt look like our newest friend is going to be saying "I told you so" anytime soon. Thanks for the info reclaimer.

^He doesnt have any inside information and his IP is the same as other troublemakers we've had on here, just some troll so broed with his life he had to create ANOTHER name to come on here and start stuff, and hes calling me pathetic.
-
^Just wanted to bump in here and say....this guy has no source....and nothing to do with the park, just some troll. Good to see you back posting Scooby!

Selling many of my coaster and park related items
Gordon Bombay replied to Shaggy's topic in Kings Island
Great stuff John! I may be bidding as soon as I get my next paycheck! I particuarly like the SOB stuff, very rare and cool! -
^First things first deidre: 1) No where has it been confirmed that the man suing was "beaten". 2) The age of the kids has not been released, the park has a policy for dealing with this. I once had a man try to swing a punch at me while I was working, he was arrested and escorted out by Mason Police, he had a young daughter with him, as I spoke with the police officer he said that if the children are old enough to make the decision, they can remain in the park. Im sure the police didnt leave young children to be preyed on by perverts like you claim.
