^Did you even read the whole topic and my posts after that one? I was saying how it was stupid that Elmer wanted to start some kind of uproar to try and get the park to change the name back, I didnt say there was anything wrong about liking the name, of course you wouldve had to have read the whole topic to know that, i just said that the new name relates better to the theme and to the kids and thats what matters for the park at the moment. For us the name means nothing, its the ride we enjoy, but the name can carry something completely mroe for a young kid and thats who the area is geared towards.

WWC will receive those boats and it will carry a spongebo theme but to save money pki would hang yellow sponges with googly eyes pasted to them all over the trees and your job would be to save spongebobs extended family by spraying them with water preventing them from drying out and dying.

Elmer I dont think most kids care what the name is after theyve riddenm its mre of that phsychological fact that they rode the big coaster in kiddie land, i doubt the name has anything to do with it plus kids are going to love the new name, in the fairly odd parents movie timmy wishes for a rollercoaster many kids will realte to this since the show is very popular.

^But you didnt watch the Fairly Odd Parents when you were a kid and not all kids make the connection as to what Beastie means, kids are gonna run all throughout NU screaming "I rode the Fairly Odd Coaster, just like the one Timmy (the charecter from the show who once wished for a rollercoaster in his backyard) rode!" This is gonna be a good thing for the kids in an area dedicated to the kids!

^no one suggested changing the name for those but even if you did it wouldnt matter, people would still ride it, as long as you didnt make it something like "Hitler's rhineland adventure" and put swastika's on the car.

Just because its posted on another forum does not make it true, where is there any factual evidence that a majority of the rides will be from Zamperla or that any such package has been purchased. I think your mistaken with the Disk-o revelation about zamperla disko-o's, possibly two (a package i guess you can call it), have been purchased for Paramount Parks. ONe for PGA and one for us, however this conventiion has not tied up every loose end, according to seibert our disk-o is supposed to be unique so maybe its not just the regular disk o and PKI still has a trick up their sleeves, just wish theyd be more vocal about whats coming. Last year during the IJ construction there were constant picture updates on PKI.com, this year nothing.

Yeah you people might nto like the name, but are you really gonna stop letting your kids ride it, are you really that offended by the name change that you want to start a petition or something or make PKI feel your "pain"? Do you really think people are gonna stop coming to the park just because the name is different, 90% of the general public that comes to the park probably didnt even know it was The Beastie, just that small wooden coaster I can take the kids on with me, no matter the name or paint job its a great coaster for everyone like klock said, it could be worse, what if they decided they wanted another coaster or a different ride there, I think we should be grateful that we have such a classic coaster that so many can enjoy rather than whine about its name.

^I could see something small and compact like Richochet at PC and PKD coming with a mighty mouse theme to NU in some years from now, but maybe with more of a twist to make it unique.

American Idiot was an album all about politics, and yes Bush is STILL president, maybe not to a turncoat like you but hes still the president of the american people, I wasnt saying what Green Day has said all the album was bad or good nor did i turn this into a political discussion I was just saying Paramount wouldnt put it in due to the poitical factor of thier last and most popular album because they dont want to offend anyone. I can see a wild mouse coaster themed to mighty mouse in NU in the coming years.

what are you using to host those videos? Ive been looking for a site that would let me host rather large videos for a trailer of a movie im making and a short documentary.

First PKD was getting IJ:stunt track then it was IJ: stunt coaster..........turbo coaster now? I though stunt coaster was the best.

^Wouldnt happen due to the political factor of their last album Paramount Parks would nto want to be sporting that the only green day thing youll see at the park is a poster for the movie out front.

^If someone buys it, get an s video cable and run it from your vcr to, if you own one, a newer enough media center computer or an external device with an s video jack and save it to your computer, i can give you some webspace to host it on as im sure we'd all love to see it and if not the whole episode, maybe just some snipets. Id be willing to edit a trailer for it.

Green Day will NEVER posess as much talent as Pink Floyd, they got popular after they ripped off a song from the band Chicago. You wont see anything Green Day at a Paramount Park due to the political factor, and im not saying i agree or disagree with the band, but I doubt they want anything that has to do with politics within a "family" park. I also dont see Green Day coming to Timberwolf..........why? because Timberwofl is a very sorry excuse for a venue and Green Day isnt controlled by Paramount theyve got other big whigs to listen to, theres much nicer venues they can play in that seat more and are more accomidating.
