WHen thrillseekers bring in the money that familes do with kids rides then we'll see more rollercoasters. For the last time, PKI is not thrillsville USA, thats CP, PKI is disney of the midwest........a fun FAMILY enviroment. WHy is geared towards families? Cause they bring in the money. Just watch, soon the CF parks will gear towards families too because they see how much $ famlies spend. Disney doesnt have that many thrills, theyre more about family then thrills, and look how they turned out.

well, with the B&M inverts and flyers able to do inversions and so much more than the arrow suspends, something along those lines is probably much more marketable. Although I love our Top Gun, and Im not dissing the arrow suspended coasters..... XLR-8's point was for the suspended model to work, not neccesarily be extremely thrilling. There would probably be a better response to an invert or flyer.

^LOL, XLR-8 sucks, our Top Gun is so MUCH BETTER! XLR-8 only goes about 35 milesper hour and is straight msot of the time with only some smal drops, eventhough it has two lift hills.

^Yeah and when thrillseekers start bringing in the money like the families do then we'll get huge massive coasters, however since Viacom and Paramount want to make money.........theyre gonna focus ont he money..........family and theme. PKI is no Disney..............yet..............but thats how disney got so succesful.........by focusing on the family and theming their parks to their movies. Having an elevator has nothing to do with it. It was never advertised as being "Handicap Accessible" therefore no codes are being violated. As far as health codes IR only need to do minor upgrades to reopen. It will not happen as PKI does not want to spend the money. and your source?

^Theming IR to the first class dining room would be really cool, that would really bring that magic of the movies thing to PKI, it would be like dining in an actual movie set, darn Paramount and their cheap pockets.

Shaggy you talk about shot down conepts, wasnt there a concept for having a copy of volcano installe din the park but do to the lack of the mountain and the cost it was shot down? Ive heard quite a few concepts that never made it but if you could share more that would be great!

^Because uhm its unsafe, and who are you to judge how safe the ice is? Did you design the thing, do you have a working knowledge of how it works? Theyre not gonna handout waivers and say your own your own, they care about safety and YOU are not one to judge how safe the ice rink was, sorry you had a bad time, but s**t happens, read your tickets PKI does NOT guarantee that any particualr attraction will be open.

^That hasnt been confirmed yet....but its looking likely. Arrow will NEVER make a 4D again, simply because Arrow is out of business and has been bought by S&S. S&S now owns all the prototypes ad concepts and drawings and plans etc (sorry too many ands) to arrows version of the 4-d coaster. It is rumored that they are making an S&S 4-d coaster which will be based off the arrow plans but improved upon, and it may be opening up at Fuji-Q Highland next year. Intamin also has a working prototype of their own version of the 4-d coaster, but it hasnt been confirmed yet if they are planning to install one anywhere.

VP of departments? If you know ANYONE who works at the park then you know that there is nor president or vice president of the departments, their run by managers who go by the titel manager. Imediate supervisors? We assocaites take capacity for what our job is, if its rides we take the rides capacity, we dont take the parks capacity, and one attractions capacity does not determine the numbers of how well the park is doing. Im sorry, but if you really have any friends that work at the park they are severly misinforming you on how things work.

No kjkj, its changed and it was announced last week, on fridays and saturdays the park will open at noon, a special lighting ceremony powered by ultrabright sarcasm powered lights from GE will be featrued.

I cant wait till May 6th, my friend and I may be making a trip to Holiday World for Voyage's opening, this is gonna be a good ride probably not as good as The Beast though

^Yeah if you read back a few posts coasters N sich explained it was a different company that was later bought out by Bombradier, but Bonbadier didnt make the KI monorails, err the Jungle Jims monorails now. Anyone know what happened to PKI and PC's monorails? Did the ofter Taft parks like Canada's Wonderland and Australia's wonderland have wild animal habitat or monorails? I know PCW has the monorails from Busch Gardens California which no longer operates.
