^No, you dont, those are old parking trams, the monorail trains (pre-Bombraider UM series) now reside at Jungle Jims International market in Fairfield Ohio, awaiting their new monorails completions. Heres some pictures I took of the monorail trains at their new home!

Uhm, by losing "the outer limits" aspect of the theme, the only thing that changed was the sign out by racer and the park map. Its amazing where you people have taken this topic........PKD's FOF IS BEING CLOSE AND PKI'S IJ IS BEING CLOSED SO PARTS CAN BE SPARED TO OPEN PKI'S FOF ON TIME!!!!!!! yeah that makes a lot of sense. Klocke is right about the web site maintenace, since this began we've seen things dissapear and re-appear on the park websites including hurler, FOF's, Shake Rattle and Roll, and now supposidly IJ. FOF was even back for awhile as KIng maple showed us, and that was confirmed by many people. Offseason boredom: website maintenace turns to conspiracy and panic.

Cedar Fair is in no shape or condition to get a hold of the Paramount park chain, they have their hands full as it is, CF has some of the best parks, much cleanlier and run better than both the Paramount and Six Flags line.

I think if they re-themed it to soundwave they would drop the MTV logo, it appeared twice on surveys, the first time with the second time without, MTV isnt really known for family friendly programming, and the park is geared towards families.

The parks are for sale as a chain, the chain is for sale, not each park seperately and yes KBF is somewhat withing "competitive" range of PGA, but Bonfante Gardens is even closer, Paramoun probably manages that park to keep competition like Cedar Fair from coming in, aquiring it, deleveloping it and competing.

Like Coaster's RZ said, its likely that whateer group is purchasing the parks will pay to use the rights from the Viacom library to still carry the themes, but will it still be called "paramount's" if they carry the viacom rights?

Im so ticked that they dont say those last three lines! I like Klocke's idea of putting Borg dummies in the tubes and theming the ride to star trek, put in some strobes and borg voice recordings in the drum and it could make for one scary and thrilling ride, then as you come along the final brake run you could hear captain picard announcing that youve been saved from assimilation and are returnign to the enterprise shuttle bay. Id like to see it as this: That outisede are is themed to star fleet headquarters and features a new dining area and trek themed gift shop and paths to the new expansion the military base has been transformed to look like a regular 24th century building and big back drops like the ones used at Disney's MGM park not only make it feel like your in a real city but give that suspension of reality feel that movies and themes are supposed to give. While waiting in line in side the building you are breifed by Captain Picard, Admiral Janeway, Captain Sisco, and Cmdr. Riker on how youve infiltrated a captured Borg Sphere and you and your crew will take part in sabotaging it, the inside que will be made to look like a starfleet base and where youd usually enter the saucer, you will enter into what looks like the outside of a borg cube amongst the neon green lights and smoke. Inside as you make your turn you see Borg in the statis tubes and borg voices making anouncements about preparing for assimilation and how "resistance is futle". You board your craft and shoot off into the unkown, inside the bowl there would be strobes, fog and borg voices and the sound of machines and at the end, some sort of lights used to make it look like pyrotechnics as you pass throuigh the corckscrew making your escape. As you come onto the final brake run you hear Cpt. Picard commending you for a job well done and the ride exit would look like th enterprise's shuttle bay. The PKI ride ops would have to wear trek uniforms. I think that would be pretty darn cool, even if you dont like ST. However, I do see how you could give the ride a dark ride type feel and possibly do something with the Addams Family but for now I think the captured UFO military secret base isnt bad since its decently clsoe to Wright Patt, which is rumored to have dealings with with UFO's and secret technology of the cold war era (yeah right but still a neat litlle gimmick having the current FOF theme).

^That doesnt prove your point anymore, Delerium broke and had a problem, that doesnt have anything to do with how the NU rides will operate, you people keep forgetting that this area is for kids would you all quit complaining, its not like the park is going to just going to stop and say "hey, why dont we just stop now and build 2 B&M's over here, NU is what they decided on and NU is what youll get, now ifyour gonna stop going to the park because of it then thats fine we wont see you, but i bet most of you will still be going to the park.

Wow, quite an acheivemnet indeed, does EPKI have anywhere near as many posts?

It would probably be cheaper just to build a new coaster then to renovate Vortex like that, also, wheres the lake behind Vortex? Just checked google earth and I've been around those parts before, no lake.

^That would be so awesome! Theme it like starfleet headquarters and make it look like the futuristic 24th century San Fransisco, they could put up big backdrops that are used on movie sets to make it appear and feel as if you are in a larger setting like at MGM. Side Note: FOF has re-appeared on PKD's website on my home pc, notebook, and school computer for journalism class so looks like king tree or whatever was telling the truth.

Ringmaster, I dont believe this family friendly website would like the word "punk ***got" said on this website and I believe us "blacks", as you like to say, would prefer to be called African Americans, myself and the other African American members of this site dont go around calling you whitey or cracker.
