Yea I was at that tour also and was told there would be boardwalk and less concreate in the waterpark, and you won't be able to see from one end to the other, and 3 years later were still burning our feet on the concreate. I know i've been away from the web site for awhile but where did Siebert go to ? Well you have to think about this logically, concrete gets warm but doesnt burn your feet, would you rather have asphalt? And I bet theres not boardwalk because then youd have to much liability of splinters of wood coming off and possibly injuring people.

Yes, but Carowinds isn't located near what ya'll consider a major city. We had over 2 million, and we are increasing every year. You have about a million more than us and that number fell last year. You all have a nice park, but its nowhere near the size of Kings Island nor does it have the attendance Kings Island gets. Id like to see where you get your figures considering the parks dont even really release them. Carowinds is a kick @$$ park though, Id give anything to have Top Gun: The Jet Coaster! Ahh my favorite coaster!

You say you understand very well planning and think KI is running out of time, dude use common sense, you dont know the exact plans, exactly what already has been completed, or exactly what else needs to be done. You dont know if KI is running out of time because you dont know what is going on there, you dont have any evidence, just some pictures off the website, how do you know those are even recent pictures? You dont.

I love how your all dissapointed from small knowledge and havent seen the finished product. You all need to remember that this area isnt geared towards a bunch of whiny adults hwo want to wear fanny packs and ride coasters all day, its for kids who like seeing nickolodeon charecters and spin in circles.

First off rollernut, dont curse on the forums. Your not respecting my opinion either, so dont be a hypocrite, yeah you have a right to an opinion and i have a right to question it (its called america) but you have no right to start a rumor when you have no signifigant backing, your some kid who worked at a park and acts like he knows everything. Id like to see your proof of how PKD could not run 4 LIM launched rollercoasters. If your statement "those who know dont talk and those who dont know talk" is true and you know something we all dont know, then you wouldnt be talking. You act just like every other employee on these fanboy boards, like you have some secret information, hahah give me a break, i worked at Beast this summer, I know a little bit more about how the park runs than most people but I can guarantee that myself, you, or any other employee does not have any information regarding secret park plans and maintenace gufaws such as running electrical power to PKD's launched coasters.

SOB_tom your full of crap, if you really worked at the park you would know that this year they are tearing out all the old stuff in the action fx theatre and installing two stages, metal bleachers, and shakespear re-enactments every day on the hour from 1 post meridiam till 6 post meridiam! Oh thats right almighty god of coaster maintenacne, yes 4 launch coasters must be too much for PKD to handle you would know that since you worked as a wooden coaster op at a park not even remotely close to Kings Dominion, you most definently know all the capabilities of the maintenance staff at Kings Dominion. Your a low level employee at paramount park much like myself and many other people on this site, and yes we all admit that we dont know as much as we think we do, get your facts straight before oyu start spreading rumors like "PKD CANT HANDLE THE MAINTENACE!". You worked on a different type of coaster miles away and performed basic tasks like pushing buttons, putting your thumb up, saying "all clear", picking up trash, and telling those kids to get off the rails, you dont know jack.

^Just PKD's or PKI's as well? If theirs is going to be closed already, maybe this could be a really really cool transition to a new ride or a huge maintenace problem

Seriously, why do you people even give a crap if theyre closed on sundays? Last time I checked, everyone in this country has a right to their religous beliefs and If Chick Fil A's higher ups want to respect their beliefs in christianity and the idea of rest on the "7th" day, so let them. Theyre obviously still making money. Im no strong christian, nor do I really put firm belief in any Religion, but if someone wants to close their business because they whole heartedly believe in their religous beleifs, I dont care, its THEIR business, and obviously no customers are really offended because they still generate business. And how do you know there still not going to take the bulldozer to it or add more than just basic theming to splat zone? For all you know, they might be working on it right now. No one knows all the exact details, just speculation and rumor spreading.

^I dont know how much you've read about snyder but uhm, he not jsut raising prices and doing "nothing". Hes been quoted many times saying how operations and customer service will be huge matters of focus for Six Flags now and how theres going to be less rollercoaster and massive ride instalattion to help bring back a family atmosphere and to cut down somewhat on costs. Yeah raising ticket prices sucks, but what else are you gonna do when your 3 billion dollars in the hole?

I remember that Scooby show, there was a scene where the kids picked from the audience got to go backs tage and slide down this cool slide onto the stage, i was never picked but my sisters both were, it made me reallysad when i was about 6 one time.

Is that all theyre getting? A survivor themed disko, its neat but is there any added effect or cool catch that makes it unique from just a disko with tropical plants around it? I hope its not like the Tomb Raider the ride at PCW, a crappy coaster thats only themed in name. I think this would be cool if maybe they played some type of game while riding, like had to answer trivia questions while on the disko while they get splashed by water and other survivor distractions i guess you could say, if you dont answer withing 7 seconds your eliminated and at the end a light by the winners seat would go off. Not only would they be getting a small fun coaster, but a game too.

^I believe so, they currently have 5 on the transfer track and one on display out by the road right next to Route 4. If you look at picture 15, the cars pictured there are wider and more rectangular shaped as compared to the monorail cars in my pictures.
