One of my best memories of working there was when I was sweeping the line and caught two girls writing on Beast's had rails with silver sharpie I stood behind them as they laughed and when they turned aroudn they jumped and I laughed and directed them to the kidd corrall. Good times. They begged not to call security and I loved the look on their faces when two guards showed up.

I worked on the 4th last year and the park was actually very crowded, the same goes for the other nights of fire days. With the night of fire celebration going on there is usually quite a big crowd but theres a lot more to see and do, if you dont mind the crowds and the waits then it will be a blast and the patriotic tributes and fireworks shows are spectacular.

What other parks? Like carowinds and Canada's wonderland, care to comment on how much gas was in those areas and what other transportation is offered to the parks as well as airfare, location, loding, and availability of those things. Im not arguing that gas caused attendance drops but what I am arguing is that IJ is what kept folks from coming, thats a pretty bold statement to make just because some disgruntled rude guy on a message board doesnt like the ride. What I'm arguing is that there are more facotrs to an attendance drop then just the attraction added like AZkindaguy and all the IJ haters seem to think and I dont even care for the ride. Whos to say when King Cobra was added, a ride a lot of you like to praise and whine about its removal, that attendance dropped and if you say it didint, lets see some definitive proof. You people boggle me, you whine and complain that IJ doesnt go 80 mph and isnt 300 ft. tall, its not meant for you "thrillseekers" of sorts, its meant as a ride the whole family can enjoy. But I'll jet jzarley point out the business standpoint.

^I didnt say they did, I'm just saying that what affects their decision is the people coming through the ticket booths. So if IJ was the cause of an attendance drop then theyd learn from that. However, thats a pretty bold statement for you to say IJ caused the attendance drop, your not taking itno account other factors such as gas and rising travel costs. Even CP took a hit last year.

Its too bad that those making the decisions dont value the opinions of a rides supervisor but only care who comes through the ticket stalls........its all in the marketing in cash and driven by profit......welcome to America.

^Concept art in amusement parks seems to ALWAYS look better or too unrealistsc then the actual finished product. Although I hate to knock Kings Island.....theirs is always a little dissapointing.......the F-14 on top of Top Gun.......the forklift on IJ....etc

^Actually NC to OH since your coming with your family your going to love the Italian Job:Stunt Track, I believe you said your song is tall enough to ride 48' rides but not 54'? Then he will love IJ:ST your whole family will......yeah its no Borg Assimilator or Flight of Fear but its good funt hat you all can enjoy....hope you enjoy the trip and form your own opinions about the park and new attraactions first before you let the whiny people like theo ne above me get to you. Im not denying the shortcomings I'm just saying all these people who still complain about the ealges and the tiques need to suck it up and realize that its past decision and probably wont be coming back. They should embrace what they have and if theyre truly mad at someone blame the right people.

Yep, like PKI Vortex said, stop by guest relations to pikc up a parent swap card because sometimes at the rides they may not have one and when you want to do aparent swap make sure you tell the ride operators so they can clear it with the other guests, that way no one thinks your cutting in line or riding twice.

I love how they complain about carnival rides when almost any major park you go to has carnival rides, even the Disney parks. Almost any small flat ride can be trailer mounted and with new technology carnivals and fairs are able to get bigger and better rides that rival those of regular amusent parks and they havent seen the finished poruduct.......except for interpreter.......sort of.

Nemo, I dont think they mind if you share your pic on the web, but I dont think theyd like it if you used it in an advertisement and gained profit from it without recognizing them.
