We rode Delerium today and it didn't seem to be going full swing. Are they still having problems with it or is this going to be a normal ride from now on?

I think that the best seat on SOB is the 2nd seat in the 1st car. We stand in line for that set every time we ride it and while it is still bumpy it's not nearly as bad as sitting over the wheels.

I wondered why they were saving the Antique Cars. They must be getting ready to fit them for the SOB track also.

I really don't think that it's overrated becuase it really isn't ranked as one of the top coasters anymore. It was my first big coaster and remains one of my favorites. I still get butterflies in my stomach before the first ride of the season. By the end of the season it isn't as exciting but I think that's because I have been on it numerous times. We had a blast on it tonight in the dark!!

We went tonight also. We went through the Maze of Madness and the Headless Hollow. I have to agree that they were not very scary. The one thing that I did like was that the Headless Hollow had pass only admission which kept the lines way down. I do have to admit that they got a few good screams out of me. There was a group behind us that had very little kids with them, I'd say 3 to 4 years old tops and they didn't seem very upset when they came out of the path. I hope that the monsters saw they were small and toned it down. The scariest part of Fear Fest for me was the Michael Jackson video that was playing on the monitors. I hope to go back next week and hit a few more haunted houses to see if they are better then the ones we went to tonight.

I'm with you on that one! I would love to just be able to travel around and go to every park. That would be so much fun.

I really don't think anyone is trying to be mean about it. I think that there aren't too many people that go to other parks from this forum. I also like to hear about other parks but unless you talk about parks from Ohio I wouldn't know what to post. And I agree with you, there is more to life then PKI but I think I'll stick to liking guys.. not girls.

How old do you have to be to work in guest relations? I think that I have heard that you have to be 16 to be a ride operator so I was wondering if it’s the same for GR or maybe even older since you’re dealing with sometimes more sensitive issues.

You will be able to use it. FearFeast is free after you get into the park. FearFest is not seperated from the rest of the park, it's mixed in throughout the park so so can enjoy all of it.

That coaster looks like so much fun!! I wish PKI would build something like that.

That's a good question. I think it would make a great Saturday morning show if they haven't already done it.

Your original post said you have your name 3 times in the que line. So was this your first time or your third? And yes, it is a big deal.

Who took the pictures of you and your sister when you were carving your names? Hopefully it wasn't one of your parents. If I would have seen my kids doing that they would have been in so much trouble! Have some respect for the park and just because everyone else does it doesn’t make it OK to do.

That sounds familiar. My kids are too young for fear fest also. This year we are leaving them with their grandparents and going without them!

Don't forget about bring a friend free days. It gets really busy on those days but it's still fun! I think that there were 3 or 4 this year.

We also went today. It was very busy with all of the cheerleaders there. I unfortunately did not ride much because we were up celebrating the buckeyes victory late last night and I didn’t feel much like being shook up today. We did ride The Beast twice, SOB once, Delirum once and Vortex once. We did a lot of walking around people watching and hitting the gift shops for Christmas presents for the kids. We also took lots of pictures in HB land since it probably wont be there next year. Over all it was a good day. I’m glad that we went to enjoy the last day there until Fear Fest kicks off.

I don't like them at all. I am fine on coasters becuase they go fast. I think when I have time to think about how high I am I get nervous.

Does the only remaining section have tables so you can eat under it? I thought I saw it earlier in the year but wasn't sure if it was part of the tunnel. It didn't seem like it was in the same spot that I remembered it being in, but I get turned around in HB Land.

I used to watch that with my kids. The books were fun too. I kind of enjoyed watching Richard Scary.

We let our bring a friend tickets go to waste also. I'm glad I did since the park was packed.

Nice pictures. The park doesn't look very crowded. Some of the rides look very cool. I would love to get up there and ride some of them.

I guess that they don't realize that when people destroy rides, landscaping, que lines etc. that the cost to get into the park will increase. PKI has to pay to have things replaced somehow.

It doesn't sound like it was too crowded. I'm sorry that you are having some personal troubles but it is good to get away from them once in awhile. Hang in there. It will get better.
