Its just like a store running a door buster to get people into the store and be upsold. There was a lot more people at the park this year over labor day weekend thanks to the 20$ tix that would not have been there normally and they ate and played mor games than was just a buck. i saw plenty of people eating hamburgers, funnel cakes, panda express, and drinks. So there was plenty of profit to be made.

^ The point was if they got a giga or a mega lite. Plus its been years since I have ridden their few coasters. I won't go unless they put in a coaster I would want to ride. Like I won't bother with Indiana beach, knoebles, holiday world, etc.

Wife drags me to the park, I make fun of her for being an enthusiast . She still does not know I am. I ride rides for the thrill, unfortunately I don't get a thrill anymore this year at the park. The first ride on DB is okay, but then if I re ride it seems slower and if I re-ride it again it seems much slower. Last two times I rode Diamondback with no lines I could only ride 3X before I had to get off cause of boredom. I liked going with my wife and baby to the waterpark and Planet Snoopy. My new favorite ride is boo blasters. I can't wait till next year as I am going to travel to the west coast, east coast, and parks in the middle cause my wife wants to go ride new rides. She is very interested in the new Drop Tower at SFGAD next year. Coasters in the 90mph range, 120mph range, and ejector machines does not get old

The same rides gets boring. I find myself riding less each time I come. I am surprised I got married when I was 30, since I get bored of people/things.

The restraints pushed down into your thighs. If Intamins had floater air they could use a t-bar no seatbelt, but their rides have so much ejector air they have to make up for operator error and desiign a restraint that works on a wider range of people.

I don't do small parks either. I won't even do holliday world. Back to the original q, go as early in june as possible the first half of the week.

I would trade pain for ejector air any day. No pain, no gain. The only thing I feel is ejector air, no discomfort.

At Geauga Lake in 04 a there was nobody in line for dominator(not a soul) and the ride op told me to walk back around cause it was CF's policy of no re-rides. They then held the train in the station since no one was there and I walked all the way around when I got on I was the only one on the train.

I am sure a mega lite could be had for around 12 million. ITs basically a maverick type coaster without a launch.

SKYRUSH is the closest thing to a mega lite in the US. Skyrush is awsome and a engineering marvel on a 4 abreast train being able to navigate tight radii.

The closest thing is SKYRUSH, These would be very economical for smaller parks to put maximum thrills in a small footprint and be around 3000' long. KK has a height limit, a mega lite is unique and would be economical. Why the hate?
